Unique Ingredient Choices and Amazing Flavor Combos All With A Lake View

I live in Kirkland and I think there is sometimes a bit of mediocrity that goes on in restaurants that are on the lake. It is as if they know people are willing to compromise on the food they eat just as long as they can dine on a lake. I have eaten there twice (once just this week) and... read more

I was there during happy hour which is between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. every day. Wine by the glass is half of the menu price and there is a good selection. I have allergies to gluten and dairy. The staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating with identifying and adapting dishes for me. I enjoyed a French rosé wine, the grilled... More

First, I want to say the manager went above and beyond to find me a table to accommodate 3 guests without a reservation on "a completely booked" evening. The bartender on duty gave me his apologies and said the couldn't help me. The manager on duty overheard the conversation as he was walking by -Stopped dead in his tracks, looked... More

We went to Bin Restaurant and Wine Bar on a Thursday evening. This waterfront establishment is nestled in Carillon Point along Lake Washington. My companion and I found the staff attentive and welcoming, location unbeatable and food & wine quite good. I have to mention the view. The sun was setting as boats rocked in the marina below and two... More

Had some very nice wine and food with excellent service in an amazing setting. If you sit outside then you're right on the lakeside and, on a sunny evening, this place is hard to beat.

You will not find a better place for dinner than the deck at the Bin in the Woodmark In Kirkland. Sunshine and Summertime on Lake Washington cannot be beat! It was warm and beautiful tonight and we enjoyed seafood dinners featuring fresh Shellfish and Alaskan salmon. While paddle boarders and kayakers went by we enjoyed seafood stew and fresh Alaskan... Lovely spring day, sat outside on the deck, not crowded at all as we were there at 5:30 pm. Our waiter got our order wrong, twice, once by not getting the potato correct and then forgetting until after we were finished to be reminded that he forgot the veggie side dish. Food was good, service was not

First the Hot. I had their salmon entree and was one of the best I have ever had. Cooked perfectly. We also had their mussels as a starter and pretty good as well. The cold: My wife had their pork entree and it was overcooked and the rest of her plate was unremarkable. The thing that bothered me the most... More

This exquisite lake front restaurant serves up perfectly prepared eclectic dishes with a surprisingly wonderful focus on the main ingredients. The balance in flavor is sublimely achieved by utilzing a minimalistic approach to saucing and coating. The salmon was 5 star with a perfectly crisp skin, delicate seasoning and a moisture usually only achieved through souvite preparation though this was... More

The setting is lovely, but I think we hit a bad (Saturday) night. Service was slow and they appeared to be short-staffed, though willing enough. And then there was the food. I don't know if the main cook may have been absent, but it was quite disappointing. It seemed like 'nouvelle' cuisine that just didn't taste like much (other than... More
