This used to be a place to come for our Friday night date night. Last night my wife came in expecting the usual Friday night Prime Rib special. The first thing our server told us (at 6 PM) was there is no Prime Rib left. They were not busy. How could the Friday special be gone when we were there... More

Casual dining experience. Had a (local) Dungeness crab melt, which was delicious, though portion was rather small. My friends had the fish and chips, which was a healthy portion of three cod filets. Also, the cole slaw was excellent! Didn't try the ale though - next time.

The Main Street Ale House is the best restaurant in Kingston with a tasty menu and great selection of wine. The bar is busy at Happy Hour and they have live music on the weekends. We would recommend the Main Street Ale House to everyone who enjoys good food and great waitstaff.

We went on a Monday which was a holiday so we weren't surprised at the restaurant being full. We were seated and told that we would have an approximate wait of 20 minutes for our food because they were busy. No problem. After 45 minutes and watching folks who had ordered after we did get their food, we asked about... More

The service was great and the atmosphere was laid back. The back seating area is a little chilly but other than that I will be back :)

Consistently good food, always great service and nice place to eat or just have a glass of wine. This is our favorite place in Kingston and will be yours too. Try the Crab Cakes or the Rib Eye when they have it. Great wine selection. Love the small town atmosphere. Hope to see you there.

3 stars because the place is nice, but it gets 1 star during my visit for insanely over-priced wine and one of the worst karaoke systems that I have ever seen in over 10 years. Seriously, $9 for a average pour of mediocre wine? I know you guys can see the Seattle skyline from the top of a hill over... More

Traveling with the family, we needed a hearty dinner on a Sunday. Saw other good reviews so we tried it. Fantastic! Delicious and very well prepared food! Big portions and prompt friendly service, kid friendly too.
