Delicious - every time!!!

My husband and I love juicy burgers and there is no place better than The Grub Hut. I usually get the mushroom burger and add grilled onions....all I can say is WOW. It is always served very hot and the taste is outstanding. Add one of their many hot sauces and an order of fries and you have a... read more

Kingston has long had some mediocre eateries. Not anymore. Not sure how long The Grub Hut has been around as I don't travel to the area often but next time I'm in town I'll definitely be stopping in. Ordered a gyro which was awesome and friend ordered a super tasty burger. Only suggestion is that they do fresh cut fries... More

Ate at peak of lunch time. We ordered two burgers and a French dip. The French dip was truly awful, with terribly overdone and tough meat and the bun was black. Au jus was really salty. The burgers were good, but messy. Which was fine except the bun was a soaked mess about halfway through eating the burger. French fries... More

I like the grub hut if I'm in the mood for the basic all american hamburger fry and shake. It's friendly, nice and affordable.

I have never, never, had such a messy burger, nor a better one! I had the bacon, garlic, double (or something like that), and it was spectacular, and they even had a Gluten-free bun. I thought I'd never eat it all, but I managed. Fries were not as good as the burger, but they would have had to be perfect... More

A local friend used this nice little restaurant as our meeting place upon our getting off the Edmonds>Kingston ferry. While the restaurant was not a good place for eight persons to meet for conversation, it is indeed a very good place to eat. The largest booth or table is for four persons. The menu is extensive with lots of choices... More

Super fast service! Extremely tasty and the perfect stop before getting on the ferry. For 2 burgers (that came with fries) and a coke we spent $20. For how great the burgers were it was well worth the money.

OK...I just read the review written about the hair in my hamburger that "caused me distress. " The hamburger was really great...but part way through I felt a hair stuck in my front teeth. I started pulling on it...and pulled and pulled..8 inches and it had started down my throat and had to be retrieved. So, yes! Someone with long... More

A long hair embedded with hamburger stuff caused my wife considerable discomfort as she tried to swallow. Clean the kitchen! Wash your hands! Wear hair nets! The nice waitress was dutifully horrified, but I doubt she informed anyone.

At first it seems a bit odd, as you place your order with the cashier, then go find a table (the place is nearly always busy). However, the burgers are so great and such a value for what you pay it is all worth it. I go there often, and always order whatever the "special" burger of the day is,... More
