Lots of average food at reasonable prices. The French Dip comes on soggy bread with tough, overcooked beef. The au jus tastes like warm tea with a hint of beef flavor. The horseradish mayo is so strong it will kill the average person.

I never understand the reason places like this are so popular. But think again popularity of The Clowns and other fast food places. I guess people just don't know. Burgers are fresh ground beef, they have good toppings to choose from, and friendly service. That's why it's so strange figuring out why quality stops there. I've been there 8 times... More

We were starved (thankfully) when we stopped in and still didn't finish our food! Portions are massive, burgers are sloppy, milkshakes are thick, kids meals equally sized, and everything was perfectly soothing in the way a good burger meal should be. It was in no way healthy even though I was covered in avocado but it tasted so good. Everything... More

My Family and I frequent the Grub Hut often. The service is top notch and the food is always the best quality. They are always polite and the service is fast. I recommend trying the fried pickles. Enjoy!

OK, hamburgers are not the health food of the decade. But if you're going to have one, get a good one and go to the Grub Hut. Funky little place that "feels right" for a burger joint. We both loved the burgers, but a friend has told us to get a gyro the next visit and that's definitely on the... More

The place is casual....too casual: plastic baskets, plastic utensils, etc. and you basically serve yourself. While all this isn't too bad of a thing, their prices reflect gourmet dining. Also, after hours I've notice a large dog hanging around inside the restaurant, which may explain why at times it doesn't seem as clean as I'd like.

The Grub Hut serves up traditional burgers and fries along with Fries and onion rings. The milk shakes are thick and creamy. Now to the real treats, The Grub Hut has a number of specialty sandwiched that are really the BOMB. from French dip to the Gorgonzola burger, they are huge and so damn good that when you want to... I had seen this place on the side of the road during our trips to and from the Kingston Ferry and often wondered if it was any good. Since we live in Poulsbo, we were never in the vicinity at meal time. However, I really wanted to try it so we made a special trip. It was 100% worth it!... More

Go there when you are hungry! Try the French Dip..have them go easy on the horseradish. The milk shakes are excellent. Good burgers, great salads and several chicken and pork options. Huge selections of condiments/hot sauces. Service is fast and the prices are reasonable. You won't go away hungry!
