We really loved this restaurant, we were crossing by and my husband and I were attracted by the lovely table clothes and the ambiance of the terrasse outside. The service was really great with a very attentive young waitress who also advised us on the wine we could match our seafood with. The food was well presented, very fresh and... More

Our waitress was attentive and helpful in suggesting food. I got the crab cakes and they were superb! My buddy got the chowder. He said this is the only place he eats chowder now because no one else can make it like they do here. Everything tasted fresh and the beer recommendations were spot on. getting separate checks was easy,... More

Clam chowder is too salty. If they let up on salt it would be perfect. Happy Hour menu is good with good prices. Very consistent in their quality of food.

My wife had a grilled salmon & enjoyed it. Fish & chips, Crab cakes were ordered. All said they were good. We had nice conversation & were not... More

The food was great, the staff was polite and efficient. The waitress I had was really funny and is a great example for what service in a restaurant should be. My only complaint would be that my seat was near a restroom in a back corner of the restaurant. It was such a strange place for a table, maybe taking... More

While I haven't sampled all the meals offered at Duke's the ones we've enjoyed have been terrific. Our favorite visits here have been to grab a quick bowl of Duke's incredibly good clam chowder and skip out to see a movie. The waiters have never made us wait for the chowder, no matter how bad our timing has been, and... More

I'm critical when it comes to Chowder and rate this among the best I've had in a long time. Of course individual taste's vary but it is my 1st choice.

We had "out of town" company and decided to play tourist for the day and do "all things Washington". That included lunch at Duke's. We ordered the Chowder sampler. Fantastic food and great fun to be able to try all of the chowders! They have a rather extensive menu, so if you don't like chowder there are plenty of other... More
