Dukes rocks,

It's Friday night. Every restaurant in Kent is a 30 minute wait.....loud, crowded. And then there is Duke's. They can seat you in 5-10 minutes. The drinks are great. That warm bread with butter....divine. Chowder is always good. In fact everything is always good. Comfy booths or outside... read more

The chowder is the best I have at a restaurant. They provide a recipe to make the chowder at home. 16 ingredients! Other fish dishes great. Not often can you get Halibut and chips. Friday night happy hour not to be missed. Every time we are in the area we eat there.

This is a great place for Happy Hout and Lunch or Dinner. Lots of fresh, local seafood - clam chowder is to die for. Great fish and chips, and the salmon sliders on the Happy Hour menu are really, really good.

I used to eat here regularly and enjoyed trying new things but their prices make me stick to my known favorites. Love their chowder, bread is great and filling salads. Fish and chips are also a fav. It would be great if they could have samplers that let you try different things at reduced cost. Service is always fantastic. For... More

Definitely not cheap but it's pretty good. Going during Happy Hour can cut your tab quite a bit and still give you a good casual meal. Have only had one hiccup here in multiple visits--halibut left too long in the kitchen fridge and it had started to spoil. On the plus side, once pointed out and confirmed by the kitchen,... More

I really did enjoy the chowder at this restaurant. I also had the fish taco -- which was good but the fish came a bit cold. Service was excellent.

This is in a "town Center" type outdoor mall, which turned me off to start, but inside the atmosphere was good. Nice lively bar with sports on TV. We were seated and not rushed at all as far as ordering and such. We both started out with a chowder, which was very good and well prepared. I had for an... More

Family lunch. Tasty chowder to start. Scrumptous crab cake. Halibut quesadilla filling and savory. Surf on by and catch some grub!
