Great Place for Seafood and Cocktails

Duke's has several locations in the NW. I've been to a few and I always order the same thing: ahi tuna quesadilla with wasabi aoli. These were so good, but the last time I was at Duke's Kent Station location I noticed it had been taken off the menu. I asked why and the server said because the... read more

Five years ago I took my daughter and her husband there for their first anniversary. I live in Connecticut so I only get to see them once a year. It was now their sixth anniversary and that's where they wanted to go. We were shocked at how much higher the prices are now. I was not that hungry so I... More

Dukes has been a favorite of mine for years. Amazing food, great drinks. Even the bread is top notch. Reason I go back? Their signature Clam Chowder. Nothing beats a bowl of their original chowder. Ivars get more publicity but Duke's is where you go if you aren't a tourist. I always get the bread bowl and that's all ya... More

Our first experience with Pacific NW cuisine: lukewarm chowder and stone cold cod tacos at a really expensive price point. I'm a NOLA girl and as such, I am used to - and don't mind - paying a hefty price tag for quality, but Duke's simply disappointed. The waiter was as nice and efficient as could be, but the seafood... Good food, excellent service, nice vibe. Great seafood selection -- love that menu. Reasonable prices. A timely reminder that we have a Duke's in our south end.

They have some amazing chowders. In general their food is very tasty. I think they are over-priced. The service is good.

ALL the staff were helpful and friendly. The chain started in 1973, but it has the feel of an independent restaurant. Great food, great service. Four adults ordered different entrees and everyone loved them. Two of us tried their "New England Clam Chowder" -- really, across the nation? It was second only to a chowder I had in Cambridge. Glad... More

Great food and drinks at very reasonable prices await the happy hour patrons. Parking is plentiful at Kent Station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The regular menu also looks great.

It seemed like an odd combination, at 1st blush, but the Salmon with goat cheese and a blueberry topping may have been the best dinner I've eaten in Seattle - or perhaps anywhere. Mine was at Kent Station, but they have other locations as wel.

The chowders were rich and delicious. The grilled crab sandwich was cold and meant to be. It was a surprise but nice and crabby. Prices are a little steep but the food and beverages were excellent.
