Casual Greek Dining in Kent

This is a go to place for Greek food in historic downtown Kent. In an old downtown building with café style seating this place serves large amounts of food at reasonable prices and the service is friendly. A full bar offers some exotic drinks as well as a variety of wines and beers. Unfortunately... read more

I hadn't had Greek food since I moved from Seattle almost 18 years ago. I wasn't disappointed ! It was as good as I remember. The portions were large and favorable. The only downside was that they were out of baklava !

This is my all time favorite restaurant! DELICIOUS food! This is my go to for special occasions or anytime someone says "your choice". I only wish that the service matched the product. One day they had a late delivery (I found out later) so didn't open at their regular time, but instead of posting a sign for customers they just... More

Greek is not my favorite food but it is my Mom's favorite and she loves this restaurant. I have tried several types of gyros which is what I enjoy and thier's are very good. I like to get the mixed meat which has lamb and beef (I find just lamb too strong and beef too routine.) Good value and wonderful... More

Spiro's has good Greek food. The atmosphere is fun on Saturday nights sine they have belly dancers. I love their traditional Greek salads, my husband likes their gyro's.

New Years eve dinner was great. Try anything made with the shaved lamb shank. Pita bread was fresh and the salad was outstanding. The Calamari appetizer was the most tender I have ever eaten! The next time in, we might just order two Calamari's appetizer's and wine and call it good. The only issue was the baked halibut was a... More

You will not find a better place to get GREEK food, not Mediterranean food, in all of South King County. I have been going here for about 14 years now and have never been disappointed with the food. It can be lout and crowded on the weekends however, due to the belly dancers. So plan on going on a week... More

Ate here on 10/5/2014. Apparently my specific description of the nastiness found within this restaurant falls into the description of health code violations so I'll be general. There were gnats in the salad, sewer flies landing on us, spoiled lamb in my souvlaki - but since I don't want this removed I will say I cannot prove that the violent... More

Spiro's has more than its share of great reviews, but our recent visit to this highly rated restaurant was very disappointing. The meat was over cooked and dried out. Maybe even microwaved? The rice was bland, and again over cooked and dry & tasteless. I gave it a two only because the poor food was offset by good service and... More

My wife and I have a favorite greek restaurant we like to visit at least once a month and its "Spiros Greek Island" in Kent, WA. The Gyros are loaded with lots of greek lamb meat and plenty of Tzatziki Sauce inside the pita bread.
