We stopped at BBQ Pete's at the Washington State fair. It was a disappointment. The ribs were overcooked and tough. The beans didn't have much of a flavor. The pork sandwich was very good. Our 2 meals were pretty pricey. I used to visit Pete's in Tacoma a few years ago and the food was always spot on. Don't think... More

Very good selection and pretty tasty. Two of us had lunch and the bill was over 35.00. It's a store front restaraunt with not much in the way of atmosphere. It's kinda hard to justify the cost of going back when there are so many other choices.

Got there late. Had semi dried out chicken. Everyone busy trying to clean up to close. Expense, had to get the the "free ice cream machine " turned back on to get " free ice cream " Closest spot to the hotel walking. Not much other choice. Probably would try again though.

This has got to be some of the best tasting barbeque in the area, hands down. Loved the rustic seating inside. We ordered the "BBQ Plate" -- one with ribs (1/3 slab) and the other with 1/2 chicken. Both plates came with the choice of two sides so we got cornbread and honey butter, loaded baked potato salad, fries (which... More

Great BBQ, this place also has a booth at the Washington (Puyallup) Fair each year. I especially like the middle of the restaurant hand wishing station, and complimentary soft serve machine.

After checking into our hotel we stumbled upon this location in an industrial park. Really great food and a Free Ice cream to boot.

We struggled to find a place to eat for Father's Day since we forgot to get reservations. Pete's was ready for us. I like how they have rolls of paper towels on each table. My favorite is the soft serve cones on the way out.

I enjoyed the bbq pork sandwich. I was starving and it was ready almost immediately. There are three sauce choices, with honey butter for the corn bread. Very satisfying lunch for $10.

I just recently moved up here and was looking for a BBQ place. This restaurant reminded me of Rudy's and I think it's probably the best BBQ place around the area. The fry sauce was very good. It's also comparable to the chick fil a sauce, which you can't get in the northwest either. I'll definitely come here regularly for... More
