Tasty find out of the South

Very tender meat with a variety of special sauces! Loved the self-serve soft ice cream cone for a sweet complimentary dessert treat.

Found this place near our hotel on a recent trip to Seattle. It's located in an industrial park building along with several other eateries. We stopped here our first night. My wife and daughter got the sliced brisket sandwich, my son got the pulled pork, and I got the Smokehouse, pork and brisket with smoked provolone and crispy onions. Fantastic!... More

The food was much worse than I expected. How can BBQ be bad? Not sure, but this was. I had the chipotle chicken sandwich. The BBQ sauce mixed with the chipotle tasted terrible, like some kind of cleaning agent. I had about 2 bites before giving up. I will say that the fries were very good and nicely seasoned, but... BBQ Pete's was suggested for a good quick lunch. Got in just before the lunch crowd and was very surprised at the great quality of a real BBQ sandwich, it was not dripping with sauce (even though you could easily add more), great taste. I highly suggest getting one of the cornbread muffins it was over the top great just... More

Good local BBQ joint. The brisket sandwich is very tasty. Meat is well done and seasoned. The icying... is that they have soft serve ice cream (free) for desert and all the sauce is on the side (self serve) so you can choose which one you like and pile it on. Takes a bit to get used to their "menu"... More

I stumbled on this place just because I was staying next door at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Kent. I liked everything about this restaurant. Great atmosphere. Excellent, authentic BBQ, like I've had in Dallas, but rarely if ever in the Northwest. Not inexpensive, but not crazy either. I had the pulled pork and hot link sandwich. My mouth... More

Ate here for lunch today....Asked for a sliced Brisket Sandwich on Texas Toast, with coleslaw....the person at the cash register wasn't able to comprehend, so I ended up with 1/4lb plate of sliced brisket, 2 half slices of texas toast, a side a cole slaw and a coke...$14 BBQ was covered....no, smothered in sauce....no one asked if I wanted sauce... We have been to Pete's on our last two trips to the Kent area. Originally from the south, we have enjoyed some superior BBQ. Pete's pulled pork sandwiches are right up there with the best! Do they cost a bit more than an ordinary sandwich? Maybe, but they are served without sauce on them so you can choose your favorite... More

Since moving to King County, WA in 2000 from the East Coast, I have been looking for a good BBQ restaurant and I have found it in BBQ Pete's! From the Pulled Pork sandwich to the Tips and Ends, this place has got it down. There are three different types of sauces for the different types of eaters, but everything... More

Tucked away in the valley of Kent, WA in an industrial area of warehouses just outside the perimeter of Boeing Space Center, this restaurant caters to a lot of Boeing employees. You'll often see uniformed personnel from foreign companies eating there. The food is fantastic serving up BBQ ribs, chicken, pork, and more. The meat falls off the bone and... More
