I did enjoy 4 different dinners at Veritas while they were open. Food was good, but price was high for a restaurant located in a medical building! Strange combo. Anyway, the business has closed, so no point in rambling on. Check please!

We went to veritas regularly in the summer of 2011 and loved their palate tile. Actually all food was great. The last three times we have been back, however, the food has been inconsistent. The palate tile (cheese and charcuterie) is a royal disappointment. It used to include slices of delicious duck breast and homemade pickled vegetables. Now it includes... More

$18-$30 price range. Salads ala carte. The food was delicious and creative. I had 4 large scallops wrapped in sole and bacon, incredible with great Yokon gold mashed potatoes . Friends had lamb shank, excellent and pork chop which was moist and tender, but plain tasting.. Arrived early dinner time, not busy, sat in back by kitchen. Took over 40... More

It was an excellent venue and the food was very creative at the start, then something changed and the food and service really dropped off the charts. It had such potential!! A slow start doesn't always mean disaster, but in this case ,losing the chef was a BIG mistake!!

Second time eating a Veritas, this time an improvement but time for food to arrive needs improvement. Early dining time, about 3 tables busy we were a party of 4, took 20+ minutes for bread to arrive, 20+ more for the meal. The other 3 enjoyed their dinner, steak, salmon, and chicken. I had paella and it was unrecognizable. Burned... More

Very good menu & tasty meals. Had the salmon & it was delightful! Very friendly waitresses & very close (very short walking distance) from three hotels/ motels. Happy hour means very good drink prices & did I mention dog friendly on patio? If you want a good, freshly cooked meal then I'd certainly recommend!

It's nice to have a non chain restaurant with great food. I hope the locals support this place! They have a Happy Hour from 3 to 6, $5 drink specials all the time, smoked prime rib on Fridays. We had the flatbread, lamb shank and the cioppion, all delicious. Save room for the crack pie or any of the desserts,... More

Gourmet fare. A little spendy but it is nice to have something different. The food is lovingly prepared and a bit different. Excellent wine choices. Sometimes live entertainment. Outdoor dining available.

We had a gift certificate for this place and I will admit it is a hidden gem. We were seated near the kitchen and could see our food being prepared. Food was excellent. The flatbread appetizer is pizza-like and almost a meal By itself. The service was excellent and the prices a bit high. The atmosphere is good with plenty... More

We ate at this gem for our anniversary. We shared steamed clams, my hubby ordered the Portherhouse Steak, I the paella and shared "crack pie" for dessert. The meal was delicious! The service was good. Enjoy.
