Carmine is charming and personable but that's where the quality stops. Pasta sauce is from a jar, and there is such a limited menu. Nothing of quality here. I can't see how they can stay in business.

Carmine’s offers a short menu that changes daily. At the time if this review, they are open Thursdays thru Sundays. Check Facebook for current schedule, menu and maybe a coupon. On Sunday, the ravioli, meatballs, sausage and lasagna are INCREDIBLE! We enjoyed the salad and fresh bread before the main dishes, sipped a glass of house wine, and ended with... More

Carmine's seems like a grandmother's house set up for a big family meal. My husband, daughter and I arrived on the front porch and were seated a table at the far end. It is an old fashioned room - wainscotting painted white, wall papered with old family pictures and celebrity memorabilia. Our waiter brought us plastic plates and 'napkins' (well... More

Hi there. Thank you for your review of July 14. We are always thrilled when people respond positively to something you do in life that you love doing. By the way, Carmine's cook is Carmine. He prepares our gravy fresh each morning. He cooks the meatballs and sausage in the gravy (sauce) all day and this is what brings out... More

What a riot! I am from New Jersey and felt like I was back home! The restaurant is an old house. The decor is early living room-you'll see! The menu is very short-two entrees are served each evening family style. We were offered cheese ravioli with Sicilian meat balls. There certainly must be an Italian grandmother in the kitchen-Mamma Mia!... More

We came in to celebrate my daughter's graduation & knew it was "family style", but both pastas were red sauces with meat. No alternatives. And the salad looked & tasted like it came out of a bag. If this is the #2 restaurant in Kennewick I'd recommend driving elsewhere.

Very sorry to see you did not enjoy your experience here at Carmine's. Perhaps you did not understand when making your reservation that each day we offer only two choices. Fridays are always traditional red sauce and vodka sauce (which is reddish-pink) but very different in taste. We are unusual to be sure, but I always give the menu of... More

Traveling through and saw this restaurant on trip advisor. Lived up to the reviews. We had ravioli with sausage and meat. Excellent. Also had fettuccine alfredo with chicken. Also good. Very friendly homey atmosphere. We will be back.

We saw the other reviews for this unique Italian restaurant and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! We also we're met at the door by Carmine. The salad and bread is wonderful. We had spaghetti and the penne with vodka sauce. The meat balls and sausage are delicious. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant.... More

I have driven past this place many times but had never stopped. The wife & I decided on Italian food and decided to give it a try rather than go all the way to the Olive Garden. I'm glad we did, and from now on we will make this our choice for Italian food in the Tri-Cities area. The menu... More

Thank you, Barbara for coming to Carmine's. We are thrilled you enjoyed your meal and look forward to your future visit. Carmine and I have actually taken the best of both our families cooking styles (at least what we, individually, thought were the best of both). We mixed them with love and here we are. Thanks again. I grew up in the outskirts of Detroit, Michigan, and I feel as though I've found home over 2000 miles away at Carmine's in Kennewick. My grandparents were Sicilian, which meant that holidays and birthdays revolved around family, laughs, and large portions of home made Italian food. Carmine's offers not only the best home made Italian food I've ever had... More

I took my wife to Carmines for a date night. It couldn't have been better. Like many other reviewers, we were greeted by Carmine himself. What a great guy! He was extremely friendly and fun to talk to. We had penne with vodka sauce and the spaghetti with gravy. Both were great, but we preferred the spaghetti. The meats were... More
