Carmine's is "Sunday dinner at Grandma and Grandpas" ....

Good food, good portions, good value.....what's not to love. Housed in a historic home filled with a variety of different dining room tables, Carmines is like going to your grandparents for Sunday dinner. Carmines has such an interesting atmosphere. Photos and momentos from the past. The staff are wonderful. The food is exceptional. Lasagna was my favorite.

My parents came into town to celebrate our birthday (my birthday and dad's birthday are a day apart), and Carmine's came highly recommended for a nice night out. We were greeted by Carmine himself, who is a charmer. The stories he has! The pictures on the wall led to great conversation, and the atmosphere made us feel like family. We... More

We had our first experience at Carmine's tonight & will be back to share our wonderful experience when we have company & when we want a nice evening out. The customer service is superb and the food was delicious. But part of the enjoyment of the evening was talking with Carmine, the owner and chef. Very interesting ,friendly man that... More

I liked be greeted by the (I think) owner at our table. He shared with me the wine offerings and I was pleasantly surprised the wine was good and served in a jelly jar! I loved it. The portions were large, fresh and delicious. The wall "art" was interesting and good conversation.

If you want a taste of authentic American Italian cuisine this is it. Seriously authentic straight out of Jersey. The meatballs and the sauce are homemade! This is not Olive Garden! This mama's down home cooking. Enjoy the experience enjoy the food and enjoy the family! Hint: check the menu out daily as they only serve certain specials on certain... More

If I could give Carmine and his family 10 stars I would. What a charming man, charming grand kids, a building full of his history and family's past and food - some of the most amazing italian food I've ever had this side of Florence. I am making my kids ride in the car for the 1.5 hour drive just... More

Took my wife here for her birthday dinner and it was great! Prices are good and their private label wine is very good. If you look at the pictures on the wall and wonder what they are all about, Carmine himself will stop by and fill you in. Turns out that Carmine and my wife were born in the same... More

This is a unique place in that you need to find out in advance what the primary menu options are for that particular day. They vary day to day so you can pick which day you want to go based on the special. It isn't a very large place but they move the people through. Great food for the price... More

Very disappointed. Wish the Tri-Cites had a nice Italian restaurant. Warmed over tasteless food. Terrible salad. Not sure when they close but wait staff was sweeping up all around us, so we hurried and left.
