I stopped in for drinks with some friends and the wait staff was very helpful and attentive; in sharp contrast to my two previous visits. When I paid my bill, they brought back the receipts for signature, but not my card. After spending 10-15 minutes looking for it with flashlights on the deck and inside, they finally found it. It... We were visiting the area from Scottsdale, AZ and decided to try Cedars on the River. We were seated outside and had a great view! The salad bar is very so-so; however, the clam chowder was very good. My husband chose the calamari special and it was excellent!! I had the seafood primavera which was good but a little lacking... We had our anniversary dinner this year at the Cedars. We made our reservations the evening before, and asked for a table outside. Surprisingly, when we arrived, our table was ready and it was outside near the river. It was gorgeous. The menu is extensive and everything looked good. My husband had the seafood linguine and it was delicious. The... More

The food is good, if not great. The atmosphere is appropriate for singles, couples and families. The views of the river are quite nice. The cost is a bit more than most area restaurants but not so much as to make a meal unaffordable.

I was in Kennewick on business and someone mentioned a nice casual place for dinner with a great view and great food. This place was PERFECT! Casual, yet very nice. Indoor and outdoor seating with a lovely view of the river. The location is fantastic and the food even better. I had the smoked trout and cheese appetizer which is... More

A little spendy, but great food and great service. You also have the view of the sunset over the Columbia River.

Cedars has the best waterfront view in the Tri-Cities. Cedars has the best salmon and the best rice pilaf in the Tri-Cities. Their salad bar ranks at the top for freshness of food and cleanliness. We visited on a busy Friday, February 21, 2014. Parking was easy. We were greeted at the front door and immediately seated with menus by... More

We went to Cedars for a birthday celebration and it wasn't the festive occasion we'd hoped for. The appetizers were good, especially the smoked trout with capers. The salad bar was mediocre. Our entrees were just average and, I thought, overpriced. Our waiter, Max or Mack, hurried us through the meal like he wanted to turn over the table FAST.... More
