We had a wonderful family meal here and I could not believe how fast our choices came out. The hand cut noodles were simply divine. The Long Beans were very good, although I would recommend asking for them to be done spicy. We will go back.

No trip to Issaquah is complete without a meal at Shanghai Garden. I love the variety of their dishes and being able to enjoy specialties like shaved beef tendon and jellyfish. The veggies are always flavorful and nicely cooked and their flying noodles just jump into your mouth! The service is friendly and casual.

We were on our way into Seattle and met up with some friends for the convenience of the location. It was a mid point for us. Our friends have dined here before. We ordered some of their favorites and tried some new dishes: House special hand shaved noodles, pork and chinese cabbage Shanhai style rice noodles, mao po tofu (spicy... More

They have such great food - the chow mein with hand shaven noodles is amazing. They are always friendly, fast and the food is wonderful. Try their General Tso's chicken and Kung Pao chicken.

I would list this as your average Chinese Restaurant where the food is hit and miss from dish to dish. Service was good and the restaurant was clean with the typical decor you expect in Chinese restaurant. For us the winner was their Moo Shu Pork which was bright, fresh and had a bold, sweet taste. The loser was the... More

Service in the Shanghai garden is awful.. 1) We've ordered a vegetarian dish "Assorted vegetables" and it came with fish balls. One of the vegetarians had a taste of it and realized it was not vegetarian stuff. We asked waitress about it , she said they are fish balls, come free with the dish.. When we said the dish was... I had Sezhuan beef there for lunch. For the amount of food that I got, I thought it was pretty pricey. I did not really like the taste of this dish because I thought that it was too sweet. However, the hot and sour soup that came with it is superb. Everyone should try the spicy cucumber appetizer. It is... More

Not the place to go if you want the pandemonium typical of bars for most young people/ I was not most. The restaurant is good, the food even better. This is my other favorite when it comes to Chinese. Very good!

This is our second time eating at this restaurant. They do not use MSG - thank you Shanghai Garden for that decision!!! I had hot & sour soup (all time best ever), egg rolls and sweet garlic beef. My husband had the egg rolls, orange beef and tea. They do not offer decalf tea; however, they are happy to provide... More

This is our family's go-to restaurant for birthdays and other celebrations. They do not use MSG and the food is delicious and plentiful. The pan fried meat dumplings are the best we've ever had and don't miss the hand-shaven noodles. Another favorite is the fried tofu with chef's special sauce. Oh and the shrimp with glazed walnuts! I'm getting hungry.
