We visited this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. The food was okay but nothing special in our opinion, and not as good as our favorite Italian restaurant, however it had great service with lots of staff.

We are so lucky to have this amazing restaurant in downtown Issaquah. The food is better than most dinners I had in Tuscany! I take business clients here for lunch often and they are always raving about the quality food and awesome serving staff. Everyone in the restaurant is passionate about creating a great dining experience. The menu is wonderful,... More

No longer do we have to travel to Seattle during the dreaded commute hour to find a decent Italian restaurant with homemade pastas, absolutely fresh seafood and excellent wine list. Montalcino's is a tiny place (reservations suggested) just off Front St in old town Issaquah. We loved the ambiance and the friendly service, but the menu is the star. We... More

Make reservations as this is a small place and doesn't seat that many. They tell you up front that your reservation is for 1 1/2 hours, but they are efficient, so was ample time and we didn't feel rushed. Excellent food and wine. Everyone there is very delightful. Great desserts too. We went there for our friend's anniversary. it is... More

Great food and atmosphere. Small place so plan ahead. I went with a friend before a play at the Village Theatre and they were fast without rushing us.

This is about as good as it gets everyone! I heard Mama makes the bread daily, the cannoli's are handmade and each entrée I have had is exquisite along with fabulous presentation! As Italians go you know the saying "No one makes it as good as we or our family does" but here you will be proud to take your... More

Maybe the best restaurant in Issaquah. But you will pay for it, as it is one of the most expensive we've found in the neighborhood. However, we left extremely pleased and happy. Owned and operated by an Italian family, and so is super authentic. They even have wine made from grapes grown in the family vineyard in Montalcino, Italy. Highly... More

This place is wonderful - they are so friendly and take great care of their patrons. The food is great - this is where I go to take my daughter on mother - daughter dates - the sort of place where they make you feel special.

Montalcino is a compact gem, tucked just off Front St in the heart of old town Issaquah. Family owner & operated, service and food quality is always excellent. The menu items are interesting, and execution in the kitchen has never disappointed us. The wine list offers interesting choices that complement your meal. Though small, Montalcino is always packed. Thankfully, they... More

This is a great little restaurant. With only eight tables in the place, you'll probably need a reservation for a weekend night unless you like eating late. The food is outstanding. The gnocchi is the best I've ever had. My wife loves the chicken parmesan. It's not on the menu, but Mama will make it for you if you ask... More
