Delicious Dinner; Service so-so

We spontaneously decided to have dinner at the Flat Iron Grill in Gilman Village (Issaquah). This is just off Highway I-90 about 20 minutes east of Seattle. It is a relatively small place and was very busy on Wednesday evening; so reservations are recommended. All of the food was excellently... read more

Flat Iron Grill continues to turn out great and interesting food. Service is always pleasant. I've never partaken of the many choices of whiskey at the bar but the selection is amazing. I think it is always a good value with high quality ingredients well prepared.

The food is well worth the effort to find this out of the way dining venue. I had the half chicken on risotto - it was well presented, ample and very delicious.

Wait for the $15 / 20% off coupons in the mail that this place regularly sends out. Prices are on the high side otherwise. Steak is good. Portions on small side. Restaurant is hidden in a cute mall. A little hard to find at night.

This was our favorite place for almost 11 years, Dined there every weekend and I was a fan of the flat iron steak. Recently they changed up the way it was prepared and I was not a fan. The food is atull awesome and the service is good. I like the flat Iron better than Jaks!

My family and I have enjoyed eating here a number of times. Usually for a special occasion such as a birthday or Father's Day. The restaurant is tucked away in Gilman Village and has a nice, warm ambiance. We have always walked away happy and this has become our "go to" restaurant when we desire a nice evening out. The... We went here for brunch one cold Sunday morning in December. Only 3 other tables were occupied so we were seated promptly. No kids menu (another family with little kids at the time). Cold inside. Not sure if they have heat available but it was definitely cold so we didn't think it was on, which was very odd. Music playing... More

We had dinner here before going to the Village Theater. Our service was fine as we got out in time. Our meals weren't quite so great however. The seafood stew was spicy due to the jalapenos which overpowered the taste of the seafood. Guess that works for those who do not like seafood. The pork chop was tasty but tough... More

Flat Iron Grill in Issaquah, Wa serves a tender steak with delicious side dishes. It is tucked in an out of the way area. Forget the view and enjoy the meal!
