I went there for breakfast. I found the food okay. I had an omelette. For what I got, I found it to be high priced for a local eatery. I don't think I would return. I didn't find the food that outstanding.

Great food, great service....new management, who really seem to care and want this charming little place to succeed. I've been coming to this place for years, and have never been disappointed. As one of the other reviewers remarked, don't be fooled by the exterior....it's a little gem of a place!

Don't let the looks fool you. Friendly service. A bit pricey, but the portion were good sized. The food was good, too. Not many places to eat in Ilwaco, and this one is only open for Breakfast and lunch.

This is what most people call a hole in the wall, greasy spoon type of place. It is small, and very clean. We had lunch there, and it was delicious. Lots of locals eat there.

Fisherman a breakfasts at 5am. Pretty standard port breakfast but also lots to look at while eating. They have some sort of gift shop/garage sale in the back that was amusing.

We stopped for lunch. The building and interior are a little tired, but the food was great. I had the chowder and my wife had the crab cakes. Both were excellent. We also shared an order of onion rings which were also great. We were very pleased (and they discount the bill 5% for cash). We would eat there again... More

We have been going to Ilwaco for many years. The Portside is always a good place to eat breakfast or get a cup of coffee before heading out to fish. Doesn't look so good inside or out, but the food is good and reasonably priced.

Our favorite breakfast of eggs, hash browns and toast perfectly prepared and served. There is even a "Garage Sale" room in the back of the cafe!

We ate here mid-day on Friday (8-24-12), only because no other Ilwaco, sit-down restaurants were open at the time. This place was a dive. Sorry, but it's true. There were five in our party. Three in our party ordered The Captain's Plate (I think that was the name), which was the most expensive thing on the menu ($19.95). My daughter... More
