Great food, great service and an incredible view. What more can you ask for? I'll definitely be going back!

The Imperial Schooner is located in the middle of all the activity of a great fishing marina. The oysters and fish & chips are great and so are the burgers. A must stop on the Long Beach Peninsula. The owner/chef always makes us feel as though he really appreciates our business.

If you like real places, the Schooner overflows with authenticity. Right next to the fishing fleet, it serves great fish and chips within view of the water. Good craft beer selection to go with the "old school" menu. The owner/chef is welcoming and helpful. Good food, good site, good price.

Clint and Laurie work hard at this business, yet they always have time to stop and talk to customers. I'm not a fish eater, but the fish and chips were SO good that I think I'm not addicted. I brought friends from out of state and they just loved the food and the setting.

Four of us had lunch, fish and chips and clam strips. All were well-prepared, tasty, and ample. Service was friendly and the location so enjoyable. We will go again.

We visit the Oregon/Washington coast about once a year and always schedule a day that we can go have an Oyster Sandwich at this restaurant. The oysters are fresh and hot, not oversized and served perfectly on a bun with tarter, onion ,lettuce and pickle. The only complaint I had was that the guy next to us made so much "... More

The fried seafood is served fresh & hot the curly fries are seasoned well. Great place to eat when visiting the Saturday Market. They also offer gluten free options to menu items.

Really it comes down to poor service, and the prevalence of better options, at lower costs. I ordered the fish and chips, the docks and fish industry of Ilwaco probably about 50 ft. away with fresh tuna and other things available, and got frozen cod from Alaska. The fries were just McDonald style frozen French fries from a bag.... And... More

Thanks for your review. Even though we are on the docks, USDA regulations prohibit us from purchasing fish off the boats. If a problem occurs in our - or any - restaurant, please notify the management so it can be corrected immediately. More

Good cod sandwich and nice friendly service. On the waterfront with a nice view of the pier /fishing boats.

The Imperial Schooner is, hands down, our favorite destination when staying in Long Beach. Everything we've ever had there has been five stars. The chowder is fantastic, the fish and chips the best (2010 Discovery Coast Visitors Guide got this one right on!) and the grilled oysters are fresh and cooked to perfection. We have no idea how anyone can... More
