Really good

We were very happy about this restaurant. Not sure how you could not love the food. Prices were great and food outstanding. A different kind of food for the location - felt like we were in San Francisco at a high end restaurant. Did not order a Cesar salad - but saw a couple go out of kitchen and... read more

Super cute place, the drinks were great. The waitress was very rude. Food took longer that expected, very small portions and kind of pricy for what you get. They were out of most things on the menu and the menu was already minimal.

We stopped at the Glass Onion in Goldendale Washington this afternoon for lunch on our way to Walla Walla. We were heading east on highway 14 and made the 10 mile detour to the Glass Onion on the recommendation of a woman in the museum down the road, and we were glad we did. The restaurant opened in 2007 in... More

Did not expect a restaurant of this quality in Goldendale of all places. Very casual place, but the food is out of this world. Had pizza one night and the crust was fantastic as well as the toppings. Our next visit we started with the fried cauliflower, drizzled with a sweet reduction and sprinkled with sesame seeds. Yum. The spinach... More

Excellent dinner. Had the Asian rice dish as well the spring pea soup. Both were very good. The Asian rice had just the right hotness. If you don't want any, either don't order or ask if they can tone it down. Dh had the steak medium done. It was very tender. We're just sorry we didn't know about them earlier... More

The Glass Onion was at Maryhill Winery Memorial Weekend.. the food smelled really good so we got some dirty fries to share. This could have been a meal in itself with pieces of pork and generous amout of fries which was all nicely seasoned. I'd like to try their full menu sometime.

This chef-run restaurant was an unexpected find in the small town of Goldendale, WA. I had fresh pea soup, bibb lettuce salad, and crispy chicken over kale. Each dish was nicely seasoned. A lovely assortment of photographs graced the walls, all for sale. It bills itself as a gallery and restaurant.

Great use of local fresh ingredients. Everything is cooked to order, no precooked food. The down side is a-la carte, making the meal more expensive.
