Surprisingly good

My wife and I jumped on the bike and rode up to Artist Point shortly after we heard that it was open for the summer season - the earliest opening on record, I've heard. After a day enjoying the beautiful views and hiking over the snow, we headed down the mountain wondering if we'd stop at North... read more

We've been coming here for 3+ years. I guess I should say something. The family that owns this place are great people! Very friendly and always inviting. The food is consistently delicious and we are still amazed that with all of the wonderful dishes they serve, there are no deep fryers. Seriously.... try the chicken wings and tell me that... More

We drove the Mount Baker Highway up as far as you can go up Mount Baker, and on the return just happened to spot this restaurant. So glad we did. Kind of a funky atmosphere which was fun. One of the best hamburgers we've ever had. Terrific service too!

It was their catchy sign out front that actually got us to stop for lunch. Going up the Mt Baker Highway the sign read "Last Cocktail" we joked and wondered if it would read "First Cocktail" when you came back the other way and when it did we knew we had to stop for lunch. Really glad we did. It... More

Having the Angus beef burger was top of my plans and I was not disappointed! This place is super amazing! I was the last food order (art nine pm), but the potato wedges were made on the fire, and the sauce" the burger was excellent. If anything was amiss, it was that the pickle was not the crunchy variety and... More

My wife and I stayed at the Snowater vaca rentals between May 15 and 22nd. We knew we were in the middle of ski/snowboarding country after most of the snow was gone, so we did not expect many amenities in the area to be open. There are 3 restaurants in the area and 2 were open. Luckily Chair 9 was... More

Website states they are open till 10:00 pm but we stopped in for the second night in a row to get pizza and beers at a couple minutes after 8:00 and was told the kitchen was closed. Offered us salad or chips and salsa for dinner. Left and drove 2 towns up to get dinner, they were more than happy... More

We took a motorcycle ride to Mount Baker and stopped for Pizza on the way back down the mountain. It was summer and the big "garage" doors were open so we sat on the deck...NICE! Pizza we really good, great crust! Good beer selection. Not your basic looking restaurant and that what makes it so cool....fits the area. We will... More

After a long day touring the Mt. Baker Hwy, this was a nice place to grab a bite on the way back. We were too exhausted to wait for fresh made pizza, so we split some excellent tater skins and I had a bowl of absolutely delicious house chili. Chili in restaurants can be a crapshoot, but this bowl was... More

My crew stopped by after working nearby. The food was excellent! I would suggest the "Hemispheres" pizza. The Cajun wings were full-size chicken wings, crispy, with the right amount of seasoning. The jalapeno poppers were bacon-wrapped and super tasty. This is an excellent place to grab a meal whether driving to Mt.Baker or for a destination dining experience. The atmosphere... More
