An overall wonderful experience from calling in reservations to our amazing meal. We celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary at JW. It was our first time to the restaurant, though we had been curious about it for some time. It's small from the outside, yet has a surprising seating capacity inside with a still very intimate feeling. When we arrived... More

Went in for a date night and had an excellent dinner! Every Tuesday and Wednesday is 3 for $30; App, entree and desert. Calamari was delicious was a kicking homemade wasabi sauce, pear pork chop was filling and creme brûlée was delightful. Definitely will be back!

As we left the restaurant after a recent visit my comment to the hostess was: "this was our first visit, but it will not be our last". It was that good. Located in a very small building on the water near the north end of the bay, it is easily missed. I had to retrace my steps to find it.... More

My wife and I have been trying to go to JW's for some time to give a try. It was spoken of well...had the heavily self-marketed "best of somewhere" rating...appeared to focus on local product... menu appeared to be nice take on fundamental restaurant fare. First time we tried, no open tables (hmmm, a good sign). Second time we tried... More

This small restaurant has been voted the best restaurant in the South Sound for many years. This was our second time there. I had seared scallops with wild rice pilaf and vegetables. Everything was cooked to perfection, but the vegetables stole the show. They had a Chai tea rub that was unique and wonderful.

Limited seating provides for an intimate full service dinning experience sans children (no one under 21 allowed). Menu choices range from seasonal favorites to new twists on comforts foods like Pan Fried Chicken with whipped potatoes. Wine selection is very nice with special selections already paired for the evenings dining specials. Because it is very popular and being a small... More

Our meal at JW was simply the best. Their Chef had just been named top chef of the South Sound for the 4th year! We had wedge salad, pineapple prawns, french pork chop in raspberry gastrique, goat cheese risotto; pan seared scallops, apple pear cheesecake and dark chocolate and orange cake. The bread and honey butter were amazing...so fresh, soft... More

Very small, family restaurant. Great food and friendly service. One of the best hidden gems in Gig Harbor. Perfect for a nice quiet evening.

I searched various web sites to find a nice place to have dinner while we were spending a night in Gig Harbor and JW seemed like a good choice. The charcuterie plate was slices of salami, that could have been from Safeway, served with cubes of aged cheddar. The crostini was deep fried bread slices, not toasted or grilled. The... More

Had a fantastic dinner at JW's and left almost full after a 3 course meal of pineapple crusted prawns, an amazing cut of halibut and a chocolate mousse with raspberries in an edible chocolate shell. My wife had a salad, lobster crusted fillet Mignon and chocolate cheesecake with raspberries. A long stem rose capped off the great evening for her... More
