This small restaurant has been voted the best restaurant in the South Sound for many years. This was our second time there. I had seared scallops with wild rice pilaf and vegetables. Everything was cooked to perfection, but the vegetables stole the show. They had a Chai tea rub that was unique and wonderful.

Limited seating provides for an intimate full service dinning experience sans children (no one under 21 allowed). Menu choices range from seasonal favorites to new twists on comforts foods like Pan Fried Chicken with whipped potatoes. Wine selection is very nice with special selections already paired for the evenings dining specials. Because it is very popular and being a small... More

Our meal at JW was simply the best. Their Chef had just been named top chef of the South Sound for the 4th year! We had wedge salad, pineapple prawns, french pork chop in raspberry gastrique, goat cheese risotto; pan seared scallops, apple pear cheesecake and dark chocolate and orange cake. The bread and honey butter were amazing...so fresh, soft... More

Very small, family restaurant. Great food and friendly service. One of the best hidden gems in Gig Harbor. Perfect for a nice quiet evening.

I searched various web sites to find a nice place to have dinner while we were spending a night in Gig Harbor and JW seemed like a good choice. The charcuterie plate was slices of salami, that could have been from Safeway, served with cubes of aged cheddar. The crostini was deep fried bread slices, not toasted or grilled. The... More

Had a fantastic dinner at JW's and left almost full after a 3 course meal of pineapple crusted prawns, an amazing cut of halibut and a chocolate mousse with raspberries in an edible chocolate shell. My wife had a salad, lobster crusted fillet Mignon and chocolate cheesecake with raspberries. A long stem rose capped off the great evening for her... More

I surprised my husband with an EXPENSIVE meal out for his birthday. Luckily, his chicken was great. My rolled steak was gross. We each took one bite and said YUCK! The waiter asked if he could box it up for us and we said no, it wasn't good. No offer to take it off the bill. This place massively overpriced... More

First time to JW's and it was an amazing experience! Everything I had heard about JW"s is so true. We started out with a sample of their Merlot wine. On our table was an anniversary card signed by all the employees, nice touch. My husband had the Ceasar salad and scallops, excellent! I had the spinach salad and salmon, also... More

This was our second visit to JW'S and a marked improvement over our first experience. The restaurant was closed for the event and the staff did a great job of keeping the food coming and the wine available for drinking. It was a fixed menu as most wine pairings tend to be and each course was nicely complimented by the... More

One of our daughters gave us a gift card for JW or we would probably never known it was there. Tucked along the shoreline in Gig Harbor and currently afflicted by road construction the restaurant is not distinctive from the outside. The inside space is limited with probably no more than 15 tables. However upon entering we were immediately met... More
