A Pleasant Surprise

Had supper here after exploring the area. They have a lot of choices on the menu, including breakfast all day. I had seafood which was fine. The food is typical diner food... Sandwiches, burgers, fish and chips. If you want a gourmet experience, don't stop, but if you are hungry and want an inexpensive meal, this place will fit the... More

Homemade pies- excellent! Long day of driving, looked up reviews as we entered town and settled on this coffee shop. I had a hot dog and fries off the kids menu and my husband had a hamburger. True, we were famished, but the food was definitely good! And the pie was amazing. Strawberry/rhubarb to die for. BIG slice and delicious!... More

This is the greasy spoon (and I say that with much affection) where, I assume, locals in Forks have breakfast, lunch and dinner. We received friendly service and an exceptional breakfast for a reasonable price every time we visited during a pair of trips to Olympic National Park. It's not Hard Rock Cafe, nor does it pretend to be...a sentiment... More

I hate writing bad reviews, but this place is pretty icky. The place is very old and very dirty. There was only one waitress working who also served as a hostess and cashier. She was as friendly and sweet as can be, but needed help. Our food was edible, but I had a hard time eating it after seeing how... More

We went there because of reviews that we had read here; however, our experience was terrible. The place needs to be redone. The carpet was filthy, seating was torn, and apparently a kid was being watched by the owners/managers/waitress as there were toys all over the place. We almost left because the dirt did not give us a good feeling... More

This was our choice two out of three mornings and breakfast was very good. They were a good price for your portion size and the staff was very friendly. A good spot to grab some breakfast before you go out hiking.

We spent 4 nights in the Forks area while exploring/hiking in Olympic National Park. We stayed at a bed and breakfast in the area but were looking for a place that was open early in the morning so that we could pick up some lunch items to take on our hikes. We found that the diner had lunches to go... More

This restaurant suffers from age - dated decor, booth seats ripped and torn, worn carpeting, and a menu which is out-of-date (some items listed are no longer served). However, the food is well prepared and plentiful, and for breakfast, you can't beat the price or the variety.

I started to title this review, "Hairy Berry Cobbler Sold Here" because I took one bite of the cobbler and got a long hair in my mouth and it was Not mine! The manager/waitress dislikes outsiders (us tourists) and has a different tone of voice and attitude when speaking to anyone other than locals but I am getting ahead of... More
