Surprisingly good

Considering the fact that Forks is in an "enchanted" part of the US, I am surprised to find that they managed to have decent Chinese food options. Do not be fouled by the dated exterior. The food was a bit on the expensive side, but the quality was on par with its big city counterparts. Service was... read more

Excellent Chinese foods. Don't add any more soy sauce or pepper into any dish prepared if you wish real Chinese style flavor. Keep it as it is prepared. Good luck!

I have to say the front of the place is a bit shabby, you might look at it and say hmmmm?? It is worth the time to stop! Try the hot n sour soup!.......Be ready for spice if you ask for it! Great staff, great food!

Driving all day and thought a large dose of veggies would be good. Friendly, clean looking place, Pleasant waitress, but combination diners didn't include a veggie dish, like chop suey? There were four vegetable dishes on the menu, but we kind of wanted a combo plate, which had wonton and three meat things. We spoke to the waitress and asked... More

Coming from the Bay Area where there is abundant Chinese restaurants. This one stacked up pretty well. We ordered the family special combo for 2 people which gave 2 egg rolls/roasted park, sweet and sour soup, fried rice and 3 entries with Mongolian beef, chicken and pork with vegetables for $13 per person. The portion was decent and tea was... More

Service was quick. The food was decent Chinese- not stellar, but kind of like home-cooked Chinese. The portions are a good size. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance of the resto- it may be off-putting but walk in the door and enjoy.

We always time our visit to Forks so we can dine there for lunch or dinner. An extensive menu and every meal we have tried has been excellent. And the best Hot and Sour Soup ever. Ambiance needs to be updated, however. Staff is friendly and efficient.

Typical Chinese dishes, overall good quality. Black bean chicken and vegetarian chow mein are above average.

On a 3 day fishing trip to Forks, Washington we visited the South-North restaurant for dinner on our first night in town. We opted for one of the combination dinners that offered the usual soup, appetizer, and three entrees, all for a very reasonable $12 per person. The server was efficient but a little cool to our inquiries and questions.... More

Bad Chinese food. Satisfactory as an American food. I was surprise they don't have a lot of seafood menu since the location is surrounded by water. If you are used to real Chinese food in the S.F area this is not the place to go.
