Kourtney, Val, and others are great, but the pizza, ravioli, lasagna, etc. aren't what they used to be. I still rate Gino's very good.

We recently moved to Federal Way and were happy to see Gino's Bistro was less than 5 minutes from our house. We are not fans of chain restaurants, and prefer to support local independent businesses. We went to lunch with a friend and tried 3 very different items from the menu. the only thing any of us would order again... More

With apologies to Marie Antoinette, instead of cake, I prefer to eat the freshly baked loaves of bread for take out and the White Pizza that Gino's makes. They are both superb. They are the best in Federal Way and the equal of any in the Seattle area. They are moderately priced and the quality is consistent. The loaves of... More

Visited Gino's after a long conference training day on the recommendation of the front desk guy at Dumas Bay Conference Center. Despite some initial misgivings when I saw it was located in a strip mall, I was pleasantly surprised at the nice, comfortable interior. I had the seafood gumbo instead of a traditional dinner salad and boy, was I glad... More

Gino's is a mom and pop Italian w/two locations. Their food is excellent and very fairly priced. They observe many traits of finer Italian restaurants like serving home baked bread w/olive oil and a drop of soy sauce instead of butter. Main dishes are excellent and prepared fresh. Pizzas are fantastico.

Well this is a tough review to write. I must start with the fact that we live in Browns Point, about 3 minutes from Gino's and we have always considered ourselves regulars. About six or eight months ago we visited for happy hour and they had changed their menu. We were disappointed and consequently had not been back until last... More

Took a visiting pastor to lunch, shared a Pizza and salads, He had recently been to Rome, He was quite impressed with the simplicity of the pizza,(more Italian than American) Tried to go back with son and daughter but learned that they do not do lunch on Saturday. We will try again!

The food is great and the service excellent (especially Kourtney). Interesting menu, but limited wine selection. Don't let the strip mall location fool you. This place is worth visiting.

I thought the prices were a little high for what you get. The food was good but not anything exceptional. The service was OK.

We like Gino's. The Bolognese is very good, along with the Chicken Parmesan. His Red Pepper Soup is probably the best soup out there, but he doesn't make it often enough. Service can be spotty, but once you realize that dinner is good and the staff is friendly, it's all OK. We can enjoy a glass of wine, talk and... More
