Went here with family for dinner after bowling. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. No big deal. Once seated, it took awhile to get menus and place order as waiter was busy. Ordered 2 medium pizzas and 2 personal pizzas for...our grandkids. The problem was the cooks. It took around an hour to get our order. No matter how busy they are, it shouldn't have taken this long. My husband used to make pizzas at a pizza establishment by a university and it never took him this long even on their busiest evenings and he was the only one making the pizzas! Had the pizzas not came when they did, we would have paid for our sodas and walked out. They had plenty of cooks. I guess their mindset was that it is okay to keep paying customers waiting and waiting and waiting! Argh!More

Looking for a take out pizza and haven’t been to the Rock in a while. A little pricey for pizza in my opinion, but it was good. They also have take out drink packages, some including alcohol.

I've lived in Federal Way a long time, and always thought this was "another pizza place" but this particular evening that's what I felt like eating and away we went. Holy moley, yes, the pizza is wonderful with more styles than you can imagine (I...had prosciutto and arugula on the BEST crust), but there are entrees like Mussels (who ever heard of that in a pizza spot?), shishito peppers with cucumber wasabi dressing, paella, blackened shrimp with sausage pasta... I think this is my new favorite restaurant in town. Lovely service besides - attentive and friendly.More

Took family out for pizza. The music was so loud we could hardly hear each other. I asked to have music turned down and explained that we were having a hard time hearing each other. I was told “NO” they could not turn the music...down. They further went on to say corporate sets the music volume. Then when the plates were brought to the table there was not enough for all 5 of us until more plates could be washed. There is as only 19 other patrons in the establishment.More

Idealistic bar setting to stop and have a cocktail while out and about. Sitting by the fireplace in the lounge next to my sweetheart on a comfy couch, it doesn’t get much better than that. I had a lemon drop.

Had a great time there last night as the atmosphere was very laid back. Our server Shelby was really attentive and took great care of us. The pizza was really good with fresh ingredients. But my favorite was the bucket drinks. Its literally a small...beach bucket with a small shovel inside. Had a great time and totally a nice evening!More

I have been eating at The Rovk locations for 20+ years. It has been 9+ months since i ate at a Rock. They definately chsnged their dough and the cheese mix. The pizzas were steaming hot but did not have the same dough nor crust...nor oven taste. Maybe it was an off night? Or have they gotten too " chain food commissary"..... The servers were & staff are still.super friendly. We will try another location before making a final conclusion......More

We visited here for a birthday outing. They have the typical pizzas and a good assortment of the "not at all typical" pizzas. They also have some interesting burgers and pasta dishes however, we stuck to the pizzas. Not the best we've ever had, but...a good second and the best in Federal Way. Service was good, casual setting, got busy fast, reccomend lunch or early dinner. Try something different, customization is easy and welcomed, as well.More

We were a party of 5 arriving at 2:30 pm on a Sunday afternoon. We had to wait 10 minutes to get seating because they were not very busy but nobody came over to the front when we were standing up there. Once we got...seated the server walked over and got our drink orders and our Appetizer order for Garlic Mozzarella bread. Appetizer Garlic Mozzarella bread- was very melted and, cheesy and tasty with the Marinara and homemade ranch sauce Four our meals we ordered the following… Wife 0rdered the “Money Sandwich” – (Grilled Chicken Sautéed with Garlic, White wine, Pesto, Sundried Tomatoes, Artichokes, Caramelized onions, Mozzarella cheese, Feta Cheese, Mayo on Toasted French Bread). It was ordered without the Bun for a more Keto diet order. She said It was good but was very messy and would have been even worse in a bun. My oldest ordered the “Get Back Mac & Cheese” –(Bacon, Cheddar cheese, Jack cheese, Romano cheese, Mozzarella, penne rigate pasta, cream sauce, parsley, crumbled crouton topping). Her comment was that is was ok but not as good as homemade Mac and cheese. I ordered the “Fish and Chips” with a side of “Onion Rings”. The Fish and chips were- (House battered cod, coleslaw, tartar sauce, beer battered fries). I will not be ordering that again if I ever go back. The Cod tasted and looked like it was battered with Corn flakes and not what I was expecting. The batter just fell off and was not crispy at all. Felt like it was sitting under a heat lamp to long and the Fries underneath it were soft and not crispy anymore. The Fries did not look or taste like they had any beer battering on them. Being a bar that has plenty of Beer I am shocked that they do not make their own beer batter for their Fish and chips. The onion Rings were ok but tasted like they were frozen Beer battered onion rings that you can buy at Costco and cook in the oven yourself. I was very disappointed with this order. My Son and youngest ordered a split 16” Pizza. Very over priced for what you get. For my sons half it was the “Pride and Joy” minus the ham and add Bacon (Pepperoni, sweet Italian sausage, ham, black olives, mushrooms, white onions, green bell peppers, extra Mozzarella, tomato sauce) the other half was the “Meaty, Beaty, Big and Bouncy” (Pepperoni, sweet Italian sausage, bacon, Italian meatballs, ham, extra Mozzarella, tomato sauce) the sauce tasted like the #10 can or Marinara sauce that we used at Round table Pizza 30 years ago to hand out with Calzones. Not much flavor for a pizza. The Ham pieces her huge and hard to eat. All in all for one 16” pizza, one sandwich, one bowl of Mac and Cheese, one order of Garlic bread, Order of Onion rings, 2 sodas and 1 order of Fish and chips came to a little over $100 with Tip. Way to much for the Quality of the food that was served. Service was ok but not great.More

Service was fast, restaurant was not too crowded. The music was very loud, making it very hard to have a conversation. There was a tv right next to the table, but unable to watch and read what was going on (closed caption on the top)....We had 2 different types of pizza and both were very good. It did seem to take a long time to get them after ordering, but they arrived hot. We had a large table, so there was room for everything and pizzas were put on a stand so were easily reached by everyone. We were in a corner, so it seemed dark and had to use our phone as a flashlight to read the menu. Staff made several rounds to ensure that everything was all to our liking and refill beverages. All in all, a really good lunch experience.More
