We've eaten Scuttlebutts several times over years in both the old and new locations. Each time the service has always been great and the food good, this time we were a bit disappointed. Again great service and I swear the Fish and Chips were on their way to our table BEFORE we had ordered. Maybe that was part of the... More

We were a party of 4 and had researched the brew pub before our vacation. The location is good, but it was raining hard, so not much of a view. The food is pretty much standard pub food. Being that close to the dock, and a brew pub making its own hand-crafted beer, we expected spectacular fish and chips (as... More

I was in a group of five on a not very busy late afternoon and the service was awful. I ordered a chicken oriental salad and it was swimming in a pool of runny dressing, it tasted ok. My cocktail tasted good but you could tell that there was hardly any alcohol in it. None of us were happy when... More

Truly, best fish and chowder we've ever had - panko crusted rather than beer-battered (which peels off); firm fish, never fishy in taste. Chowder is simply wonderful, never watery, good chunks of clams - delicious! Scuttlebutt Blonde is my favorite beer too! We held my father-in-law's 80th birthday there last year in the banquet room and all guests raved about... More

I only get one thing here and it's their fried cod. It's not greasy at all so you wouldn't think it was fried.

This is a true family place, with all the noise that comes with it. Despite the volume level, the beers are quite good northwest fare, though few were exceptional. The food is quite good and better than a lot of brewpubs. Worth a visit. Also, worth driving out to the edge of the adjacent harbor to watch the sunset.

Great location on the waterfront. Pretty decent brews and fantastic fish & chips. I tend to gravitate toward a light coating vs. the heavy beer batter dip. It was just perfect for me. Would have given them 5 stars except service was lacking. Went for late lunch, around 1-1:30pm and despite being there post rush, it was slow. Further irritated... More
