Great food in a family environment

Scuttlebutt's bills itself as a family pub, two words you don't often see together. However, it was entirely appropriate. Staff was friendly and the wait was not very long, even on a busy Friday night. The food was delicious. They brew their own beers and the one I had was adequate but nothing to... read more

This is a great little pub. Just what you'd want from a microbrewery. Standbys like burgers and fries and real variety too. (get the Gyro. So good.) There are a few great fish dishes and the location is wonderful- a view of the marina and hassle free parking. The beers great too!

After a recommendation to eat at the Scuttlebutt ... we went for dinner - whilst staying at the Hampton Inn. We both enjoyed what was a DEEELISH dinner - and I enjoyed their signature Porter. The next day involved a return vizit - for lunch (and another pint o' Porter ) - which was equally az GREAT ! The grub... More

We just went there to try the beer but we ordered food too. It was not bad but not excellent either. Just average type bar food, mostly fried and what not. It was fun though and the wait staff is really nice. We probably would not eat there again ut not because we hated or anything.

It was really just ok. The food portions appeared small, even sparse.....can get as good a burger or sandwich a Red Robin's, and you get french fry refills...Service was ok.. basically everything was just ok. Not much to say

I went here with my wife and tried a few of the locally made beers. The place was packed at lunch time and is very popular. We tried the IPA, saison, and Hoptopia (imperial IPA). The saison was my favorite. The bartender was great and I would go back. Prices are low and a great value.

Locally brewed beer, the porter is great. avoid the triple 7 as it has a clove flavor. The fish and chip are always good, you really can't go wrong with whats on the menu but you might have to wait 20-30 mins for a table on a Friday night.

Went for lunch with a friend who said that this place was good. It definitely was. Her salad was huge and looked fabulous; my Reuben sandwich was a little different than what I was expecting but it was good, too. My sandwich came with fries, and I'm not a huge French fry fan, but their fries were to die for.... More

Good beer. Cool location in the marina area. Perfect for a Sunday afternoon beer and snack. Food is pretty good too. Basic pub fare done well.

The two times I have been there I have had the same impression. The restaurant is very loud and rushed. The food choices are few and the Happy Hour might as well be non existent.
