I recently moved up here and was only familiar with Emorys from news story about the tragic fire. So, when my daughter and i had been wedding shopping one afternoon we decided to try them for happy hour and cocktails. The outdoor dining is wonderful for just such a thing in the summer. The staff was very friendly and the... More

The food and service has improved dramatically after the redo/fire. The food was a little overpriced but they do have a good variety from burgers and pasta to steak and fish. Nice view of the lake. Staff was outgoing and friendly with timely delivery of the food ordered

Emory's looks like a great place to have a romantic meal with a spouse. I went there one time with my husband and have no desire to return. The food that I ordered was not very good. I also tried my husband's dish and was not impressed. Unless the menu and chef has changed since our last visit I have... More

tyndalljm, Thank you for submitting your review on a previous visit to Emory's on Silver Lake. I'm not sure when you dined with us, but we brought in a new Chef and have made many changes to our menu within the last 7-8 months. We are very happy with the team we currently have in place, and have received many... More

We have been here since the remodel and it has a very cozy atmosphere. We sat in the bar and it was very entertaining. We were very sad when this place burned down and are super excited it is back open. The only downside is that they open past lunch time (2 p.m.) and we cannot get in for lunch.... More

One of our all-time favorite places to eat. Two days in a row this week, and exquisite food both days. The Butternut Squash Bisque, is beyond fabulous and the scallops were divine. We noticed that sitting in one of the small booths is much quieter than near the windows -- good info for those with a little trouble hearing........which one... More

But with that said, the staff and the food was still top notch. But the restaurant was very loud and not the place to have any type of an intimate dinner. It was challenging to have a conversation. Could be it is quieter on a midweek night. I will come again as I said, the food was great.

I've never eaten at the restaurant part, but happy hour in the bar area is tasty. A creative and diverse menu with peaceful view of the lake makes it a crowded favorite on a sunny summer day. I especially lie the lettuce wraps. The drinks are a little pricey for a happy hour, $1 off, so $7-8. A good light... More

this is a great place to grab a glass of wine with friends, do trivia, or eat. The food is amazing and every bite was so good I can't stop thinking about it. I can't wait to go back. Service is good and the view of Silver lake is very nice. The bar is so relaxed and you can enjoy... More

We have been going to Emory's several times a year for the last ten years. We always find great service, excellent food and a welcoming atmosphere. In years past we were a group of family members aged twenty to one hundred years old. It was easy to find seating for our group of 12-14 with two walkers to keep handy... More
