Very good food, excellent ambience, great happy hour

The food isn't particularly inspired, but it's well prepared from fresh ingredients. And the dining area is charming, separated into multiple small rooms for an intimate feeling. I think the dinner menu is over-priced but the happy hour is a great deal. Get there before 4pm on a sunny day to score... read more

I have never had a bad meal at Emory's - from burgers to my favorite ahi poke tower and hot seafood caeser we keep coming back for more. Whether a date night, girls night, or late bite to eat (and drink). My kids love the pizza and mac and cheese - we ate outside on the deck by the fire... More

We had never been to Emory and thought we would give it a try. There is no parking in the lot and you are forced to do valet parking. We wanted to try the happy hour. Unfortunately the lounge was full so we decided to go in the restaurant. we ordered the bistro steak and the crusted Panko parmasean cod... More

Emory's was good for several years before an arsonist burned it to the ground in November 2009. People from miles around anxiously awaited Emory's to rise from the ashes and it did! Every time I drive by the large parking lot is full from 11 AM to closing. Why? Because you cannot get a bad meal at Emory's and the... More

Good reliable menu and ambiance. There is a busy bar area with sports or music and a quieter dining area. Can get crowded for events and happy hour. Summer on the patio and happy hour are excellent.

Every time we have been there the Service absolutely Sucks! The waiters wander around, and never ever have we had our meal within 30 minutes.

If you get there early you can park yourself without using the valet service. Later you will have to use it because the place gets busy. Especially on the weekends reservations are a good idea, no matter what time you go. We have been a number of times and are a member of their frequent dining club. It is free... More

It's amazing how they have that barn of a restaurant and everybody is crowded in the bar with the restaurant empty. Of course, we were there early. The bar is twice as big since they rebuilt it after the fire. Food was good although we got pork chops instead of the pork tenderloin as advertised. $5 happy hour house wine... More

Joy, Thank you for submitting your review on your visit to Emory's on Silver Lake. When we rebuilt after the arson fire, our architect help us design a lodge-style restaurant with a more open floor plan. Our Happy Hour and Lounge Events have become popular, and we are pleased to hear that it was crowded! Believe it or not, the... More

Had a great dinner for four on a Saturday night to celebrate two birthdays. Service & entries were excellent but the crowd mix was intriguing. First, you can choose valet parking. Dinner service was standard in the dining room but they also have a screened deck that was more casual for families & groups. They were also conducting a banquet... More

After reading many positive reviews for Emory's, my husband and I chose to go here for our anniversary, mostly because of the positive food reviews. The location, even at night in the dark, was lovely, our window seat was quieter than I expected based on the reviews and the service was fantastic. The crab cakes were better than average, but...
