Buck's seems like it has inhabited the east end of Hewitt forever. It's brick walls, long bar, and buck head mounted on the wall over the bar feel like old friends- even the first time you visit. The menu is varied and the food is well prepared and tasty. They have a $10 weeknight special each month that ca't be... More

Pretty good selection, From order to table takes a little long. Prices a little much. The varity that our table had was nice, but the burger was rather like a McDonalds patty.

My husband and I went here early on a Saturday evening after a day of pre-Christmas errands. The place was not very busy and had a cozy atmosphere with dim lighting and small tables. The service was prompt and courteous, the wine list and dinner menu both succinct and full of very good options, and the food was tasty and... More

Just order the basic burger...no questions, it is the juiciest--most generous serving in the area. The service is attentive and friendly, as well.

Went to Bucks as it was walking distance from our hotel. Nice ambiance in an old bank. arrived early (6pm) was starting to get busy. Service was good. We both ordered the "fall of the bone" ribs which were tasty but did not fall offf the bone. Nice the building is being utilized.

We went to Buck's for lunch. Their restaurant is set up really cute. Great ambiance. Their chicken ceasar salad was delicious. Very friendly atmosphere.

Food was ok. Ate there for lunch. Took 45 minutes to get our order in. Poor lady was there alone serving everyone while the others stood around.

My husband and I are sometimes difficult to please because we have been in the restaurant industry for so many years. This is a quirky spot with only a couple "large" tables, mostly two and four tops so it is instantly a perfect date night or double date spot. The bar runs along the dining room so it's easy to... I have had many meals and drinks at this locally owned establishment. Quant atmosphere right out of Cheers. Most items are made from scratch and absolutely delicious. They have $10 dinner deals and the prices are what you would expect. Yummy bread meets you when you arrive for dinner and the beer/wine selection is excellent. Located in a historic downtown... More

Pricey for the quality. The kitchen is not creative at all, the food is boring. Our service wasn't that great either, we felt we were a bother.
