I've been going to Buck's for years. Their lunch menu is great, always check daily the specials, their pasta specials are always worth trying. The food servers are seasoned veterans and do their jobs well, efficiently, and always with a smile. Great vintage wooden bar as well. Very laid back atmosphere with no loud, blaring music. Highly recommended!

One of the only places in the area for good food after 8. Nikki makes sure I am well taken care of when I am too tires to cook. I will continue to be a frequent diner.

This has been one of my favorites for a while. An interesting take on a lot of classics. Great soups.

Recommended by co-workers and within walking distance of the holiday inn. Cute with large moose head on the wall, selection of beverages and daily specials. Prices were "big city" dinners ($19 for chicken parm) which was good, not great. Waitress didn't ask which sauce I wanted...Alfredo or marinara just picked one for me. Friend had appetizer platter which was huge... More

This month I had the opportunity to have several meals at Bucks. The recommendation came from the front desk at the Holiday Inn. Overall the service was friendly and timed well. My favorite waitress (Kelly) was always in a great mood and did a super job. The hot artichoke dip will always be my favorite. The fresh fish (salmon and... More

I have never had a restaurant experience like the one I had at Buck's. It took 25 minutes for a server to come to the table and take our drink orders and then asked if we needed more time! We placed our orders and did not receive our food for another 50 minutes - supposedly, there was a mishap in... More

Had appetizers and dinner at Buck's American Cafe. It was good food but I was expecting more from reading other reviews. I did not think the calamari sticks we had tasted like calamari. I had the pan fried breaded oysters for my entree. The oysters were good and very plump but I could have done without the breading on them.... More

We were seated quickly and our order was taken efficiently. I was impressed with the quality of food and service. Our orders of salad were a pleasant surprise because my tossed green salad came with bleu cheese crumbles to compliment my salad dressing choice and my husband's side of spinach salad was delicious. I had the fish tacos and raved... More

After seven years of faithfully sticking with the fish tacos, I finally strayed --- to a most excellent black & blue steak salad! The steak had the most wonderful flavor and was cooked to absolute perfection. Mmmmm. As always, the service was excellent and we were presented with lots of food. Things went over the top though when we ordered... More

I've eaten here five or six times in the past couple of years, seems to be declining. We ate here two days ago with another couple. Drinks were good, martinis all around. Server told us they were out of the prime rib (at 7pm on a Friday night). We remembered this as a pattern from other visits, but pressed on.... More
