Just average, at best...

We visited this establishment because it was touted to be a unique, fine, dining experience. We arrived around 5 pm and found it to be a very beautiful, well designed room with a nice bar, dining room, and back room for overflow. The prices are reasonable and the menu seemed unique but at the same... read more

My husband and I visited the Prohibition Grille in March after seeing the Restaurant Nightmares episode with Gordon Ramsay. Out of curiousity, we planned to visit the restaurant on the way back from a trip to Seattle. Though we had dinner plans later in the day, we went to the Grille for their happy hour. We enjoyed it so much... More

We weren't expecting much, I must admit, but the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, the staff seemed genuinely happy to see us, so we sat down for dinner. The chicken in a biscuit was homey, comforting and tasty. The beef short ribs were lovely, and perfectly cooked. Everything was very fresh, good portions, and the prices were incredibly reasonable. $14... More

I don't give 5's, These guys earned it! The food was very VERY good! I had the Chicken & Biscuit.. I was skeptical at first but I am so glad I ordered this dish. My dining companion had the cider braised pork shoulder that came with butter & herb spatzle. Another great dish! The flavor profiles of each dish were... More

We are from out of town, visiting our son, and he brought us here. Had a nice conversation with the owner before we ordered. Drinks were good and our food was good. Loved the atmosphere. A little pricey, but didn't mind as we were on vacation.

Meh. Food was not great at all. Everything was "handmade" , didn't seem like it. Was hoping for more. Very expensive.....

On a business trip and stopped by this place because it was very close to the hotel. The food was great, especially the spätzle, which was just as good as my German grandmother used to make, and the corn chowder. The beer selection is also good, and some local stuff on tap is excellent.

Never got to or will get to this restaurant. Emailed the owner to ask if the restaurant sold gift cards. After 4 day I still had no response. Called the restaurant and got a really rude answer to the same question. Rude owner, rude staff?? The equation balances out to NO THANKS!!!

First of all, we loved the decor and the setting in this restaurant. Our time there started with a long chat with the owner; she was friendly, likable and willing to talk with us for more than a passing moment. We loved the personal attention she gave us. She also recommended an excellent bottle of wine (although her definition of... More

From out of town, we were looking for something unique with delicious food and we found it here. Great beer on tap, efficient and friendly service and our food was so good. Had fish n chips (fresh cod), meatloaf and the sweet potato fries and we loved it all. We didn't have any preconceived notions of what "type" of restaurant... More
