The service here is very good. Real country charm and kindness. The kind of place that makes you feel welcome. Excellent portion sizes and good food. They serve breakfast all day long too!

I was in here last Saturday the 3rd. Thinking they we're opened till 10 my friend and I walked in at 845 without hesitation. The waitress graciously sat us and took our order. We noticed she was doing some vacuuming and asked what time she closed. She said nine. I was very Impressed that she let us stay and eat... More

I was really shocked when we walked in on a sat night at 8:35pm and the waitress told us they close at 9pm.so we couldn't eat there. Whenever we come to town we have at least one meal there and we have come late before but have never been turned away. Guess they wanted us to give more business to... More

Whew! Had a breakfast that I couldn't finish! had a biscuit and gravy with hashbrowns , sausage , and egg .. Didn't know the "Cow-Pie" biscuit was the size of a platter! about 4 inches tall , around 8 inches across , a meal in itself! I left about a quarter of the breakfast on the platter .. My wife... Every town has a rustic country cooking restaurant where the biscuits are huge, the gravy is home made and the coffee is always hot. This is it. Not much to say that you would not expect. The food is great, staff is polite and prices are good and darned if they don't have a huge rusty tractor out front!

We've stopped at The rusty Tractor a few times on the way to, or from, the beach. There are very few places with such friendly service as you are treated like a lifelong chum from the moment you arrive until you walk out the door. I've always skipped the Yak burger because the higher prices but maybe I need to... More

We stopped for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The Holiday Bazaar was going on nearby and church was probably just getting out, so we there were several groups waiting for tables in the tiny entry. We had about a 15 minute wait. Breakfast was great and portions huge. Service was very good even though they were very busy. The kids... More

My husband and I love the Yak Burgers - although on occasion they have been poorly prepared and very dry. We have had good wait staff, and we have had BAD wait staff, and we have often waited 20+ minutes for our meals to arrive . . . but, in the end, the Yak burgers keep us coming back! Try... More

This is a great place to stop for breakfast! I had the chicken fried steak and egg's and my wife had a ham & cheese omelet. The food was freshly make, the portions were large and very filling and the price was very reasonable. This restaurant has been open in the small town of Elma for decades. It has old... More

We stopped here for lunch and the establishment is unique to say the least. The walls and ceilings are displaying wonderful antiques every where you look. The fall decorations were amazing. Even the windows were painted in a fall theme. The staff was VERY friendly and cherry. The service was quick and the food was delicious. The prices were reasonable... More
