The staff here was very friendly and the decor is interesting; some neat history here. However the food is just ok... nothing special. Big portions but average quality. It should be the reverse of that!

I ate well, my wife less well - but it was fine overall. Small town, large pretentions! The rodeo was on everyone's mind, not the food.

This restaurant was recommended by some of the locals. We went here as a group of 30. We did a pre-order so the food would be done by the time we got there. When we first got there they knew exactly where to sit us and we were not waiting at all. This was great. Being that the food was... More

My wife and I were in town for two days. Last night we chose to eat dinner at the Palace Cafe after reading the reviews. She had the Rubin sandwich, I had the Flat Iron Stake and a Chef's Salad. The food was very good; however, the time it took for our food to be served was too long. By... More

Food was good once we finally got it. We had a party of 9 but it still took longer than expected to get served. It was the end of the Jazz in the Valley weekend so maybe they were all worn out! I would go there again on a less busy weekend. Check out the picture hanging to the right... More

We are here for breakfast in early August. We were surprised to find it neatly empty on a Sunday morning around 9:00am. Perhaps folks in Ellensburg like to sleep in, or most everyone goes to church. In any case, we were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress, Hadley, was very pleasant, and attentive (but not in an annoying way). Our... More

Great food and service. Really liked the atmosphere. Will definitely eat here again. Servers were very nice and attentive to our needs.

Save your money. We live in Eburg and in the last 10 yrs the food has gotten to be almost disgusting. We get the free meal cards at our birthday and anniversaries but we don't even use them anymore. The only think to stay good is the coffee.

We ate an acceptable lunch there on 5/8/14, and our credit card was hit twice for the meal in error, and as of 6/21/14, Palace Café has not corrected the error (left my third phone call request that it be corrected today).

This place has the smallest steaks and chicken breasts I have ever seen any restaurant serve!!! They load your plate up with the sides because the main entree is tiny! They overcharge for the food you receive.
