Good stop for a quick meal.

Came by for an early dinner. Molly was our waitress and she was a gem - never interrupting, but constantly glancing as she passed by - our glasses never got below 1/3 full. I had the "Not your kids' grilled cheese" on rye and added bacon. It was perfectly grilled and the salad was crisp. The... read more

Good basic food. Sevice is friendly and timely.. The breakfasts are probably the high point, opening early and serving late... Sundays can be busy but worth the wait.

This is my daughter's favorite place to eat in town and she is a very picky eater. There is something for everyone on the menu.

Staff at the Hampton Inn suggested the Palace. Found the Palace Cafe staff welcoming and attentive. Basic home style menu with a good variety of items to please everyone. Salad was crisp and served on a good cold plate. Dinner was very good - flat iron steak tender and cooked to order.

The Palace is in a cool, old vintage building in downtown E'Burg. Ellensburg is one of my favorite towns in Washington. A rodeo Mecca, college town and gateway to the Yakima canyon, one of the best river canyons anywhere. The Palace is a fixture in EB. The food is not fancy but it is good. The portions are large. The... More

Travelling along the I-90 going home and needed to stop for lunch. A recommendation from a family member that competes with cutting horses recommended the Palace, and we're glad we took him up on the recommendation. Shared a mocha milkshake - and we're glad we shared because of the size ... and had fish and chips and prime rib dip.... More

Palace Cafe is a superb place to get a big breakfast. All their selection are exceptional. And they don't hold back . . . you'll get plenty of great tasting food. And the building itself is historical, given that it's about a hundred years old.

Good meals in the past at the Palace prompted me to ask my brother and wife and a friend if they'd like to have an early dinner there upon our return to Seattle. They agreed. Besides the regular menu, there were Mother's Day specials. We chose the halibut and salmon dinners with side Caesar salads. Each of us enjoyed the... More

Best prime rib dip and milkshakes! Downtown location. Rustic decor. Fast service, even when busy, which is most the time.
