A great little place

The food was very good. I had the sirloin; oh my, done to my liking and so juicy and delicious. One of the best steaks I have ever had. Husband had the sun-dried tomato linguine with shrimp; also very good. Everything was fresh! A cute and quaint place.

Hmm, red roasted hummus app is very good and we had the BLT w/avocado. With tomato soup. This will make you want to slap your mamma! My daughter had the chicken wrap with a side salad. Also excellent. Portions are ridiculous! Priced right and I would highly recommend to anyone.

I've been here in the past for lunch, and enjoyed it ... if I recall they had a decent lunch menu and good sandwiches. But I never thought it seemed like a dinner place. I was surprised to see that dinner was given good reviews here, so I decided to try it. I took my husband here for his birthday... More

From the moment you open the dinner menu you know that this place is waaayyy better than the name or decor infers! My partner and I both had incredible meals: 8 oz sirloin with chimichurri sauce, asparagus and mashed potatoes - mine the cedar plank steelhead with fingerling potatoes, artichokes and sun dried tomatoes.. Incredible flavors and presentation - very... More

Overnight in Ellensburg. Walked to this quaint place and very pleasantly surprised! Menu limited, food very fresh, well prepared, ample portions. Casual and noisy but atmosphere very friendly. We had a relaxed quality dinner.

Stopped here on the way home from climbing in the enchantments. we showed up with 9 people at noon on Sunday. The place was super busy and had great energy about it. They sat us in ~15 mins in our own space which was nice. Even being short staffed they did a great job. The food was great. I had... More

Ample sized dishes, good food, lovely service. I liked the beer selection. There's a table to sit at outside when the weather is nice. Charming!

We stopped for the night at the very pretty university town of Ellensberg, on our way to Vancouver. Once accommodation was sorted, we referred to Trip Advisor for help with where to go for dinner. The Yellow Church Cafe stood out - in all sorts of ways. As its name suggests, the restaurant is a bright yellow former church. We... More

The food always has been good at this restaurant, and breakfast this time was no exception. High levels of service have never been a hallmark of Yellow Church Cafe, with food quality offsetting. This visit, we almost had to go find the server to get water and coffee refills, and even a check.

Cute little restaurant a block off the main strip in town. The chimichurri sauce on the steak was excellent. No one wanted at split a slice of cake with me, but they looked really good (the slices were way too big to eat on my own)
