We were referred here by the manager at the holiday inn express for dinner and so happy he did. This place is not on the main traffic street of Ellensburg so if your not local you wouldn't know it was here, much less a place with great food. It is an old church turned into a café, they serve... read more

Had a delightful dinner once again here on the way from Eastern Washington to Seattle. This should be a required stop if you are coming through during lunch or dinner hours. It's just off the main traffic and a little further into town, but well worth the extra 5 minute trip away from the fast food. The place serves delicious... More

Been here numerous times whenever we are in Ellensburg. This night was as good as the others. Had the lamb, which was served on skewers, and had a wonderful sauce. Well balanced and able to taste multiple layers. Wonderful!

Cute little restaurant near the downtown area. We wanted to eat local so decided on this restaurant for dinner when we were passing through. My sun-dried tomato linguini was good but a bit dry. My husband's Caesars salad was plain. The service was not good. We never received the beer we ordered, no refills on the water, and we waited... More

Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a brightly painted yellow church, on our first trip into Ellensburg, WA. Smiles and delight in finding this cafe was surpased by decour, attentive and friendly service. Everything was locally grown and homemade. Our sandwiches were in fresh breads and rolls. The ingredients were delicious and juicy. Highly recommended. We will... More

We stopped for lunch and were not at all disappointed! The homemade bread was amazing, along with the potato salad and pickles. Patience is a virtue -- don't stop if you're in a hurry because food this good takes time to prepare!

Had a wonderful visit to the Yellow Church Cafe based upon a recommendation from our hotel. The Yellow Church Cafe is just a block off of main street in downtown Ellensburg. Fresh food, great service and wonderful ambiance are what you can expect from your visit here.

We were in town for one night and ate at the Yellow Church Cafe. The best decision we have made in quite awhile. The server was welcoming - the space was relaxing- and most importantly the food was exceptional. Steelhead salmon was incredible . Even the accompanying potatoes and artichoke hearts were prepared with an attention to detail and flavor.... More

We live in the Seattle area and have friends and relatives in eastern Washington and British Columbia, so we're passing by Ellensburg on I90 a few times a year. We always time each trip to have us in the Ellensburg area about the time we want to eat and we always eat at the Yellow Church. It's a cute place... More

The server was on top of our water and very attentive. The spicy shrimp sauce was amazing, the buffalo burger was decent (great bun), the pastrami sandwich was awesome and the black-eyed pea soup was pretty good. We looked to the giant board to try and find specials or a listing of the soup of the day, but the board... More
