what a great place for lunch on a drive through Ellensburg

I stopped at this restaurant last summer with some buddies as we were traveling across the state on I-90. While it is located in town and not directly next to I-90 I wondered why they wanted to go "that far out of the way". . . I figured it out as soon as we entered the "church". . wow what... read more

Stopped in for lunch on Easter Sunday. My daughter loved her mac n cheese and my vegetarian minestrone was full of veggies, garbanzo & orzo- delicious/nutritious! Also among very best broccoli and cheddar quiche I have ever had. Service by Destiny - friendly & excellent. Decor, incredibly charming - so much to admire. Highly recommended!

We stopped by the Yellow Church Cafe more or less by accident. I checked the place out on TA before hand and wanted to stop there on our trip back from Walla Walla. However, I didn't check the location, we cruised by the fast food chains and almost stopped before we saw the Yellow Church. We walked in and saw... More

Amazing sandwiches and salads and huge portions, so you will not leave hungry. Can hardly wait to return to sample more things!

They source their meat from RR Ranch, need I say more? They serve more vegetables than just salad, the menu is interesting. I ordered the Ossobucco. Very good.

This is a great quirky spot. Both times I've been there we have had the same server and he has been efficient, helpful with recommendations, accurate and very friendly. The Holy Moly Chicken is delicious, as is the meatball linguine (though the pasta was a tad bit gummy). Surprisingly the Thai Curry is full of flavor and delicious (an unexpected... More

We stopped by here on the way back home from Spokane to Seattle on a Sunday evening. It reminded me of Port Townsend, where we are originally from, I felt right at home. The staff was very friendly and everything we ate was fabulous- the pear and blue cheese salad, hummus plate, spicy spaghetti and meatballs and linguine with sundried... More

This funky little cafe has some of the best food I have ever eaten at a cafe. The menu changes often and everything I have ever I had there was extremely good. If you are in Ellensburg be sure to check them out.

We stopped at the Yellow Church Cafe the last time we passed through Ellensburg (about 3 or 4 years ago) and again a couple of days ago on our way home to Bend, OR. We were not disappointed on our return visit! The Yellow Church has a special atmosphere - it is bright, airy and it still has the churchy... More
