Everything was perfect

All the food and beverages start to finish were perfect. From the meatball appetizer, to the crab salad, through the key lime desert, everything was freshly made from scratch, nicely presented, arrived just made via the excellent service. 2nd time we have dined here on rare Ellensburg visits and... read more

I had the daily special, which was a seafood louie with pasta and a light oregano vinegarette. It was delicious. The salmon that topped the salad was great, the crab and shrimp in the salad was generous. My husband had a reuben sandwich on rye, which I tasted, and it too was delish. Grandson had fettucini alfredo with chicken, and... More

I apologize if this sounds unkind, but I have just eaten there, with high expectations, and hence am in a bad mood. I have not been to E'burg in many years, and this visit reminds me why that is. I used to drive over 110 miles to Seattle from here just to dine at a good restaurant. On returning I... More

Been here a few times over the years and it has always been consistently good food. Service is pretty quick, efficient and nice. I had a braised beef of some kind last time, I was there, it was flavorful, tender and filling. A nice wine list to choose from.

Funky little cafe with great food. From scratch food prepared by a chef with friendly, funky waitstaff. One of Ellensburg's little gems.

We were here again last night for Valentines Day. This isn't a casual dining establishment, though nobody cares what you wear in Ellensburg. One of the few times of the year when reservations are necessary. We arrived to friendly greetings and were seated at what I think of as the best booth in the house. Art Deco decor pervades the... Stopped in with a friend on a weekend day while driving through Ellensburg. Place was empty with only one staff member on duty. The sever/greeter seated and greeted us quickly and was pleasant. She informed us of the happy hour specials and that we couldn't order off the dinner menu, only the appetizer menu because, well I don't know why... More

Usually damn near empty when I've been there, but decent food... the waiter was a bit strange... Nice enough atmosphere... One of these days I'll give it another whirl, Earl. P.S. Pricy though!!!

Our friend had eaten here in the past and enjoyed it so we decided to give Valley Cafe a try. We visited on a Friday evening and practically had the place to ourselves. The owner waited on us and was very friendly. The seared Ahi tuna served with coconut rice was delicious and cooked perfectly rare. This was our first... More

Wow Sunday evening and a lot of places were closed but we lucked out and found this gem. We ordered a variety of different foods and found them all to be so much better than expected. The loaded potato soup and tomato basil bisque were both very good and the service was great to boot.
