Ellensburg has a Decent Mexican Restaurant

Traveling east to west on I-90 can be long haul with towns a significant distance apart. As we approached Ellensburg, I checked Trip Advisor and decided upon this medium size restaurant. It was lunch time and during the week, so it was a good sign to see quite a number of cars in the parking lot... read more

the food the atmosphere the seating and all else was great, they have very nice waiters and the drinks were great, especially after an 8 hour drive.

I came in during lunch time and planned to order off the lunch menu. The Macho Burrito is on the lunch menu, but the description is on the dinner menu. Because I was looking at the description when I ordered my burrito I was charged extra even though it was still lunch time. When I told the waiter I meant... More

We stopped in on a Sunday night for dinner. The service was friendly and fast. The food was average. I had Tacos Al Pastor and they weren't too bad, although I've had better. My friend had a mole special. The plates were big and there was plenty of rice and beans. The server refilled our salsa. The food was delivered... More

My husband and I eat Mexican food almost everyday and honestly, in almost every state. We have eaten at many many different Mexican Restaurants. I say this to say, we are very experienced eaters :) . We came in for lunch at this location and it was pretty busy. Service was very friendly and the chips and salsa were very... More

Heading home after visiting family in Blaine, WA, we decided to stop for fuel in Ellensberg and grab a quick roadside lunch. There were plenty of fast food places but this "real" restaurant beckoned - we've been on an extended RV trip to Alaska and hadn't eaten good Mexican food in quite awhile. Los Cabos looked promising.... Nicely painted and... More

We stopped in for lunch, it was the worst chile rellano I've ever had. I ended up walking over to Taco Bell and grabbing a taco. Definitely not worth the time or money.

The staff was a little slow in service and didn't really make any attempt to pick up the pace. Their salsa was full of old ingredients and needs to be thrown out. The rice was a mix of fresh rice and old.

Stopped here to have a lite meal and kill some time. We both ordered something from the Senior menu. Food was OK, we don't normally eat Mexican.
