I've eaten in a lot of restaurants in my day. This is one of the best I've been in. The ambiance is wonderfully quaint and a little country. The view of the Puget Sound outside the door is fantastic, and sets the mood for a wonderful experience. Breakfast here is always a delight. We especially enjoyed the potatoes that came... More

My husband and I enjoyed two "early bird" dinners at Chanterelle last week ($11.99 each). He had chicken with artichoke hearts, mashed potatoes and asparagus. I had a white fish in a lemony sauce, roasted potatoes and asparagus. I started off with a nice house salad and he a cup of tomato bisque soup, plus nice bread and butter (complimentary).... More

We've eaten at Chaterelle several times, and always had a nice meal. My wife is on a diet, however, and we were quite disappointed yesterday that substitutions for the standard breakfast menu (i.e. tomatoes in place of toast and potatoes) would involve an extra charge. In the course of her diet, we have not encountered a single restaurant, not even... More

We travel to Edmonds several times a month. In April we decided to stop for lunch before we got on the ferry. Menu has several choices that all sound appealing. We had soup and a salad. They were good but soup didn't have any depth of flavor. Was a little disappointing.

Chanterelle's is a very good restaurant. When my dad and I walked into the building, there was a cheerful atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly, and the food was great! If I could suggest one thing you have to get when you go there would be their tomato bisque. Even though I dislike tomatoes, I loved the bisque.

The service is absolutely great. The menu is limited as is the bar. Obviously, they are popular as the place was packed at dinnertime, but it didn't detract from the generally nice ambience. This is one of the few places I have been to recently where they keep the bread coming. Salads were unimaginative with skimpy dressing. My wife had... More

Within walking distance of R. S. and the food is fresh prepared, great tasting and interesting atmosphere . The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. I found it enjoyable after a consultatation at R.S. I had the chicken salad [chicken meat on a green salad]. It had high quality indgredients and I enjoyed it. I got a to-go cup... More

Those who have visited Edmonds will know that it is a small town that is quite friendly. That character carries on at Chanterelle. We came in for take-out, since we were staying in a nearby guest house and wanted to eat there. Server couldn't have been more helpful - even to the point of getting the kitchen to "reopen" the... A restaurant on Main Street of Edmonds, a few blocks away from the ferry dock. It is a good place to have a casual dinner. Just a simple straightforward menu.

Warm, down-home hospitality greets you immediately as you walk through the door. It's always been a popular place, and many times there is a wait, but we regulars just go with it. This last visit we both had the meatloaf sandwich which was great and filling! Love their bottomless coffee service and I always marvel at how much better it... More
