Go for the Bisque!

Like others I have to RAVE about the Tomato Bisque. Would love to come back in winter for toasted cheese sandwich & bisque. Great wait staff & pleasant atmosphere. Had the Red Thai Mussels which were good but not at all spicey. My friend loved the bread & I loved that they brought plenty of butter... read more

I visited on a week day after 9:00 and there were plenty of seats available. IMO my breakfast choice (scrambled eggs, bacon, cinnamon French toast) was average. The best was the cinnamon French toast. The eggs were rubbery with no flavor. The bacon was crisp but average. Nothing amazing that would bring me back, but the waitstaff was were very... More

We've been here a few times. It is a great location in town and the setting is is quaint. Their portions are generous and delicious. The staff is friendly. They have a few two-tops outside if you'd like to ear in the fresh air.

Chanterelle's is a great hometown place for breakfast or lunch. It is definitely a step above the local diners. They serve comfort food with a modern twist. Their cimnamon-raisin french toast is delicious and a great way to start the day. For lunch try their grilled - cheese and tomato bisque. You won't find a better grilled cheese and tomato... More

We stopped here for lunch and had a very pleasant meal. Our server was friendly and efficient. The lunch menu had many good choices and we enjoyed a salad (the day's special) and a meatloaf sandwich. The interior is attractive and the prices reasonable. We would eat here again.

This was a restaurant we had driven past many times. Always my wife saying I never take her there. So Last night we went. Our wait was resonable, and service was prompt and attentitve. Water was immediately brought to the table, and menus provided. The waiter was patient, and when asked, knoweledgable about the menu. The Tomato Bisque was Incredible!... More

Nice selection of main courses and wonderful desserts. I like to go there for coffee and dessert, but the lunches are good too.

We were visiting Edmonds for a Rick Steves workshop and walked to this restaurant in the town center for later dining at 7:30. A short wait for a full restaurant on a Thursday evening. Friendly server, reasonable prices, portions large and food great. A place you can linger both with the wine and after dinner coffee. Worth a return visit.
