Food was very good. I enjoyed the Sole fish meal. Service was a little slow but if you are not in a hurry, enjoy your company.
Immaculately clean, and good service. The menu is varied, and the wine list decent. However, the food was a disappointment -- not bad, but certainly not great. Two of us had the veal with shrimp -- a mediocre cut of veal in both cases, and shrimp that were old and fishy. The salads were fresh, with nice dressings, and the... More
My wife and I stopped at this restaurant on the spur of the moment. French cooking sounded a bit different for a change for us. The entrees were a little high in price but we gave it a shot. Not bad at all. I had the halibut in lemon sauce with capers. Not bad at all. My wife had the... More
We have enjoyed this small cafe for over three decades. Fermin, the Suisse chef/owner, has years of experience in Europe and elsewhere before taking over the Cafe. We have eaten in Paris, Nice and Montreal and Fermin performs consistence excellence in his kitchen. The Cafe is loyal to the French tradition of eating with sufficient time to properly prepare and... More
My wife cannot tolerate certain foods, and some of her selected menu items contained them. When she explained her allergies, the server was extremely gracious in offering the substitutions that made her dinner excellent, overall. The preparation of her fish and my duck showed proper French care with the sauces. The duck was good, but a rather uniform grey under... More
Magnifique! Cafe de Paris est le gemme de Edmonds. The atmosphere was quaint and charming. The food was as good as, if not better, than in Paris. It really took us back to Paris. The warm bread was as is one was having du pain in Paris--fresh from the oven. The vegetables were fresh and wonderful and the rib eye... More
Very authentic traditional French Food.. Love the onion soup -- very filling for lunch. Check hours and see if you need a reservatiion. It is hard to find really fine French food here. There is also a small outdoor patio.
Café de Paris offers a few parking places supplemented by street parking, which is gobbled up by patrons of the tavern next door. We found the restaurant oddly uncrowded on a Saturday night. The menu is rather large, tending toward seafood. The bread served warm was excellent; the little tabs of butter wrapped in metal foil was déclassé. The wine... More
If you like French food here is the place for you. The fish was great and the flavors were fantastic. Good wine and a great decadent desert. The service was wonderful too.
I had a beef dish that was delicious. It melted in my mouth. My friend had grilled salmon that she enjoyed. The waitress was really on top of things. She checked on us multiple times without being obnoxious. The one thing that is lacking is atmosphere. You can do a lot with a french theme but this looks non descript. I... More
