We pass through Edmonds a couple of times a year on our way to take the Ferry terminal. We have stopped for fish & chips at Ivar's Seafood Bar on our last two trips. The place is clean and nice. The fish is fresh cooked, hot, tender, and good. If you can't make it to Ivar's original Acres of Clams... More

Ivar's never fails to impress me. Their fresh seafood menu rivals most restaurants but at half the price. For $22 we feasted on Cajun cod, fries, creamy coleslaw and clam chowder; all served up in minutes by friendly staff. In and out in 30 minutes with a smile on our faces. Thanks again Ivar's for a great lunch!

Good fish, excellent chowder. Free drink refills. Bit pricey. Next to the new Key Bank. Around the corner from Chopsticks if you like good chinese.

Ivar's is a Seattle tradition. I grew up on it. The quality is still good after all these years. A very nice break from burgers or tacos. I have had better fish and chips, but Ivar's is always reliable and fresh.

I had the Copper River Salmon..I ordered it cooked medium..it was cooked well done..ok but not great. My companion had the fish and chips and he said they were very good. This is a classic place which is a neighborhood go to place. Good service. The value was reasonable and if you like fried foods this is probably a good... More

Do not go for FAST food; it is prepared after you order, except for the delicious soups! The setting and decor is definitely fast food; but do NOT be put off by this or the very reasonable prices. You can pay more elsewhere, but not exceed the quality that you wil receive here. This has become a favorite of mine... More

A good spot for what Ivar's does best. Fresh fried seafood, clam chowder, and accessories...a dependable meal.
