Good ol' Ivars!

I miss Ivars! Wish they had restaurants in Oregon. Stopped by for a late night fish 'n chips and wasn't disappointed. Both were fresh and hot! Yum! I also really like their tartar sauce (which I dip fries in!). Plus, they are one of the only restaurants that offer white vinegar with garlic! Wish... read more

Our fish and chips here were very fresh and delicious! They also have a very good tartar sauce. The restaurant was clean as well.

Definitely eat in. The food is so much better when you eat it as soon as you get it..any time that I have ever drove it home it just didn't stay as good. But delicious regardless. Love the clams and chips

This is my and my wife's favorite spot to grab fish & chips in Edmonds. We've been to Arnies and Anthonys down by the water and will continue to go there when guests come to town, but when it's just us and we want good food without all of the pretense of a fancier restaurant we come here to Ivars.... They have one of my favorite clam chowders. The fish and chips are good. Love the salmon and chips. The seafood chowder is good too.

One of the few choices on the Edmonds waterfront. Besides, it's a Washington tradition. Chowder is decent. They are consistent. No matter which location you go, the food is always the same standard. That is a plus.

I had the cesear salad with halibut. The fish was perfectly done. The salad was nothing out of the ordinary. My father got the oysters&chips. The oysters were pretty awful. They were gummy and could have been fried a little longer. As for the cocktail sauce, it was not for me. It was very sweet which was off-putting for me... More

Ivar's Seafood Bar looks like a fast food place, and indeed, you order at the counter. But the food is not cheap, and this is a place many hit on a weekly basis for a great seafood meal without the atmosphere or priciness of one of the more restaurant-y Ivar's with tablecloths. Great fish and chips of all kinds, great... More

There are many seafood choices and as always, the famous Ivar's clam chowder. I also tried their Salmon chowder.
