To be completely honest, I did not understand what the hype about this place was about. Besides friendly service and great servers, I found the food mediocre at best. The location/atmosphere clashes with "fine italian dining" as it looks very shabby and Carmines-like for those who know the place. I have had much much better Italian and a much more... More

Food was better than average Italian with good wine selection. At times, I felt they were bigger on quantity vs. quality. Staff worked hard the chef/owner even came out to greet everyone.

Sazio di Notte and chef Bill Patterson are a combination you won't soon forget! This restaurant is small, charming, and has a list of Italian wines that will set your brain reeling! The chef is more than willing to discuss them with you, recommend ones that are both satisfying to your particular pallate and pocketbook, and then, if he has... More

Food was excellent with fresh island ingredients, service outstanding. When the wind kicked up, they seamlessly moved us inside. By the fireplace, with lit candles instead of a fire - nice touch! All in all a wonderful dining experience!

We frequently dine at Sazio. And we are always pleased with the consistently delicious, fresh food served here! The menu specials change with the seasons, and the chef, Bill, blends the local ingredients with Italian seasonings and makes magic. If you are lucky you may get to taste the meltingly delicious crab ravioli, or the scallops linguine. Vegetarians won't be... More

What was I thinking? After reading the reviews on trip advisor and yelp about this place, I expected something magical. Alas, that experience wasn't to be had. This restaurant is an Italian restaurant on orcas island, nothing magical, just meh. Menu choices were uninspiring and limited. Execution was average and plating was dated. Prices were high and I felt it... More

My husband and I stumbled upon Sazio di Notte, and I'm so glad we did! They just happened to have 1 table available for walk-ins, but don't count on it---make reservations! This is a very small restaurant. The setting is quiet and intimate. The food is nothing short of spectacular! I had one of the specials--hand made pasta with tons... More

Think delicious handmade pasta with bold yet balanced flavors. I had tagliatelle with homemade sausage and herbs in a magical tomato cream sauce. It was the best bowl of pasta I have ever eaten. My wife had pappardelle with fresh mushrooms in a Vin Santo reduction that was equally compelling. The wine list features a great depth and breadth of... More
