We'd had a full day and couldn't imagine sitting at a formal restaurant for several courses. The food and atmosphere at The Kitchen was perfect; a relaxed setting, choose your noodle, veggie, protein, sauce....ginger iced tea. A great way to end a busy day.

We knew that good fast food doesn't happen fast, and we were on island time so no hurry or worry about the wait. Our pirk and tofu wraps were excellent and worth the 30 minute wait in the shaded iconic area. Don't go expecting city fast food, relax and enjoy the island and it's excellent food options.

As we walked up to the patio after 7 pm on a Tuesday we saw how many tables were waiting for food, so we were not surprised to be told it would be 30-35 minutes. When hot and yummy potstickers appeared after 15 minutes, we were encouraged. Then things went downhill. Young kid near us got the wrong sauce on... More

If it is a nice day you will enjoy eating in the outdoor yard. Otherwise, there is not much in the way of indoor seating. We have been here on a cool windy day and it was not too fun. But sunny days, its a great choice. The line is often long and the service a bit slow due to... More

I was on Orcas Island for business and found this little place within walking distance from my meeting. My husband and I ordered two Student Specials, one with brown rice and the other with rice noodles. We chose the coconut curry sauce, and ordered a mango/mint iced tea and water. When I asked for ice to add to the warm... More

I think our experience would have been even better if we had eaten in rather than walked our food home, but even then, the salad was fresh and a delicious combination of herbs, greens and dressing. Hubby's pork wrap and yam fries were very tasty indeed. Good stuff!

While camping on Orcas Island our family decided to take a break from camp food and eat out. We headed into Eastsound for dinner and stumbled across this restaurant. After an afternoon of kayaking this place hit the spot! The food is Asian fusion-- lots of noodle dishes, rice bowls, etc, with a good selection of creative sauces and an... More

Ate here for an early lunch over the weekend, 11ish. Food was good if pretty slow, service wasn't great. No friendly greeting or even a hello. Maybe just an off day, it was gray and rainy outside so maybe it affected the mood. Didn't get our order the right the first time but corrected it quickly which was appreciated.

We had a nice dinner here. Recommend the chicken pot-stickers. Never had pot-stickers with sunflower seeds tossed on top, but surprising good. A young man was spinning albums and it had a nice outdoor seating area. Price was reasonable. Would stop by again if on Orca. If considering, remember to bring cash. They don't accept credit cards.

We had a pretty good dinner here. A good amount of veggies - lots of 'bowls. Service excellent. We got lucky and had a warm lovely evening. I would go back.
