I recently took myself out for dinner in the lounge, my favorite place to dine alone. Hilary is sweet, gracious and attentive. Although my orders were simple I heard her negotiate and explain a number of menu items to guests and they got exactly what they wanted. The food is classic, fresh, carefully made. The bar is well curated. Just... More

This was a truly great meal in a very special place. We were seated by the windows overlooking the bay at sunset. The food was exceptional. So much that it was hard to share with my wife. And she felt the same way. We will return.

The hotel suggested this restaurant. We were not disappointed. The food is well prepared with an emphasis on local ingredients. The wait staff are well informed and trained. The venue overlooking the bay is superb. We we so impressed with this restaurant that we returned a second night. And we were just as satisfied. Orcas Island is a very special... More

Cozy atmosphere, beautiful views, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and delicious food. Most of the herbs and vegetables in their meals are fresh from their garden on site. Spent quite a bit of $ there because we wanted to try everything on the menu.

Absolutely spectacular food and service. Virtually everything is local, sustainable, farm to table, etc. We had oysters, pork belly (a delicacy of the area), rabbit, the fish special and a crème brulee type dessert. All were five star. We would most certainly be regulars were this not 1500 miles from our home and requiring planes, cars and boats to get... More

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner here recently while visiting Orcas Island. Very nice ambience, great food, great service, looking out towards the water... exactly what we were hoping for!

We had dinner at this charming farmhouse inn on their first night to open for the spring season. Our meal, with delicious fresh food picked from their garden, was the best meal of our ten day trip to the Pacific Northeast, including the number one ranked Seattle restaurant. The chef can be seen in his kitchen through the large exterior... More

I can imagine the scenarios of both the excellent and poor reviews. We went in without a reservation to ask about a table. The staff at the entrance was pretty off-putting. Maybe a little rude. We made a reservation for the next evening. When we arrived for our reserved time, we still had a 20 minute wait. The wait staff... More

One of our continuing guilty pleasures is dining at The Inn at Ship Bay - the chef and his stalwart right hand man and the whole kitchen staff continues to serve some of the most delicious food in all of the San Juan's and the Pacific Northwest. Farm to table is not just a mantra but fact brought to your... More
