Taste may not be worth the noise.

Quality ingredients at reasonable prices, however smaller portions than one would expect usually. Innovative dishes with weird combinations - some of which work well. Too hot in spice for my mouth. We had a nice lunch of sandwiches. They were fine, but not exceptional. When I read the menu, I noticed there were no side choices - no potato salad, cole slaw, French fries, etc. The sandwich choices did not mention that anything came with the sandwich. I was expecting chips or something. Got nothing! For a guy, I would think... More

Good café, slightly out of the main bustle of Eastsound. Came here as the line at the Brown Bear was 20 yards long. Great coffee, and excellent cinnamon rolls, pain au chocolate and muffins. Service was relaxed, in keeping with the atmosphere of Roses, which wasn't perfect for us as we were in a hurry, but everyone was v kind... More

We went to their shop at first and bought some bread, meat, french mustard and other goodies. Their wine and champagne selection is amazing (many importations). This little specialty boutique is quite impressive. We came back to try their restaurant and had breakfast. The european/local fusion style flavors made this meal outstanding! We enjoyed everything but shared the eggs with... More

It was a rainy day in East Sound, and Roses provides the best relief from damp streets. They have great soups and sandwiches, as well as seafood dishes. Crab cakes were excellent. Pizza is also very good. Desserts are also reliable.

we went by daily to get our sandwich bread loaf. Very good! They have some nice deli selections, including tasty canned and bottled goods. We didn't eat at the cafe, but it looked nice.

Awesome sweet buns. The coffee was a good accompaniment. Sandwiches and quiches were made of very fresh ingredients.

We stopped in to Roses early to see about sandwiches for a lunch picnic later in the day. Unfortunately, we were too early for the lunch menu... but lucky for us, we stopped in! If you are lucky enough to be in this amazing bakery, and they have the cheesy bread sticks, make sure you buy some (better yet, buy... More

Roses Bakery Café has wonderful food at lunch - tasty soups and delicious sandwiches. If only they served dinner. Easily the best lunch spot in East Sound. Waitresses are very attentive and observant when water or coffee gets low. Highly recommend this place as long as it is on a day we aren't there.
