Prices were a tad high for some of the sandwiches, but the food was really good - awesome desserts! Nice, attentive service. Cute little shop next door.

Food was just OK, service was burned out, took forever to get meal...and a bit pricey! That said, everyone loved their baked goods...that was worth it.

We ate breakfast here 3 times in a week. The food is healthy and delicious and not all the standard American breakfast fare. Muesli with fruit and yogurt sweetened with maple syrup is on example. It comes with a nice baguette (no wonder bread toast here) that I always completely devoured.

this place is fabulous!!! every morning started off with breakfast at roses. their breads are amazing, especially the fig/anise (fridays only); and lunches are ample and all meals are locally-sourced; pies- yum!!! and the deli is the place to stock up on wonderfulness.

Consider getting there at 11:30 or even earlier for lunch in busy summers. This time, my wife had the linguini with clams - it was tops, "just like Mom made it"… the noodles tasted full of clam/garlic “nectar”, yet they were firm. I had one of their excellent thin crust, crispy pizzas - mushrooms and cheese... SIMPLE?.. well, their mushrooms... More

We had lunch here with a party of eight and had excellent service and an outstanding meal. They use fresh local products to prepare their meals and the local produce and seafood makes for outstanding cuisine. I saw large bowls of clams and mussels going to tables of other diners and our waitress was kind enough to let me know... More

Great place to stop for breakfast on Orcas Island. The staff is friendly and the food is wonderful! We had the baked eggs and Gruyere and they were spectacular!

The smell of fresh bread was enough to bring you into this lovely cafe....had a wonderful and very tasty salad of fresh beets and organic aragula...just yummy,,,the French ham with gruyere on French baguette reminded me of being in France.. Nice selection of wines, and some of the pizza's looked very interesting. Service was slow but very friendly and pleasant.

I could have ordered and eaten everything on the menu. Had to choose so we went with splitting the LOCAL mussels for lunch--plenty for two with bread for dipping. Mussels were very tender. We'll go back and try thin crust pizza, and save room for dessert. Bought chocolate croissants for breakfast in bakery.
