We enjoyed a wonderful lunch here, sitting at the counter and watching the kitchen and wait staff bustle around; this place functions like a well-oiled machine, meals are served quickly and prepared from scratch. The soups are terrific, the sandwiches are made from bread baked in their bakery which shares the building, and the meals are well above average. We... More

Best cakes in town, food in the restaurant was also very good. A good place to have a coffee and slice of cake.

My sister and I spent two days on Orcas and ate at Rose's Bakery Cafe three times! We had breakfast there twice and we had a late lunch/early dinner one day. The food was very good. We weren't crazy about the coffee but we found that most places. Everything else was great. We liked the atmosphere. We ate our lunch... More

We arrived to the island a little too early to check into our hotel, so we decided to find somewhere to have lunch and came across Roses. My husband and brother had the beef pot pie and I had the halibut sandwich. All were really excellent! The service was fast and friendly throughout the meal. I had to order their... More

Food was okay, little on the spendy side for what you get, the service was a little slow and not much personality. Over all it was okay.

After waiting almost an hour and not being served down the street, we decided to walk and look to see what caught our eye. Roses looked good and we decided it would be better than the grocery store deli so we gave it a try. Great choice! The weather was great and we were seated on the porch. Not quite... More

We ate lunch here twice during recent vacation to Orcas Island. Outstanding soups. Great service. For me - the sliced lamb sandwich is something I'll remember for a long time!

We ate here twice while on the island and even got an order to go for a meal later on. Very open and clean dining area with a ton of windows and a great patio. If it's available, try the wild chantrelle pizza - OMG. Life changer. We loved that they offer fresh, local, and organic menu items when possible.... More

We enjoyed lunch on two different days. Very interesting wine list, excellent soups and and very remarkable BLT...the bacon made it! A burrata caprese salad with local heirloom tomatoes was perfect and must say the coffee and nectarine-raspberry crisp were also a hit. Some reviews say it is pricey, not so if you consider the quality of the ingredients and... More
