My wife and I went to EastSound for lunch today and based on excellent reviews we went to Island Skillet first about 1:20pm. Restauarant was full and we were told to come back in about 15 minutes. We went around window shopping and returned to Island Skillet at 1:40pm and were glad to see available seating with no one waiting.... More

My family of three went for a late breakfast. My daughter and I weren't super hungry and decided to split one of the scrambled eggs dishes. Thank goodness we did! The portions are quite plentiful along with being really good. The prices were decent too. Thanks Trip Advisor for another good tip.

Island living and touring can be pricey and this is a super solid breakfast and lunch spot - I should know I ate there three times on a 4 day visit. Most alluring are the prices which are very competitive for anywhere, most especially an island with high end prices. The fruit cups are fresh, the service attentive, and the... More

We walked out after the Host crapped us attitude. Waited politely with my 84 year old mother and 12 year old nephew. Host told us that it was our fault that people cut in front of us. Don't go here if you are polite and with people who actually need food.

Had breakfast and the potatoes (home fries)were a bit under cooked. Scramble needed more seasoning and the dish was blah. Highly rated, so we gave it a try. Maybe we just hit it on an off day.

Spending the summer on Orcas can do a lot of damage to your wallet. This is by far the best value for breakfast with a great list of options and friendly service. Overall the prices are reasonable and the food is great. I will be a weekly visitor to this place. Thanks for the incredible service.

Review 1: very few breakfast offerings led us to the Island Skillet. I had read about spotty service, and long waits, and was a bit hesitant. Turns out, the service was spot on as opposed to spotty. The wait was a little long, but we've learned over the years that island time is a little slower than main land time,... More

IF you are on Orcas Island and you don't eat here...blame yourself for missing it! Our entire group came to the Island knowing prices would be high, but still encountered sticker shock. Island Skillet we first tried because the prices were more reasonable...we kept returning because the food (and morning coffee) was OUTSTANDING! Each of us tried different things (Salmon... More
