I got the southwest burger with onion rings. The burger was pretty good, the meat was a little overcooked and dry, next time I will ask if I can order it medium. The onion rings were ok, I've had better. We did get an appetizer - the loaded fries and those were really good. Whenever we are on Orcas island... More

We stopped into Lower Tavern for a burger at around 2:00 the Thursday before Memorial Weekend. The place wasn't crowded; a few folks at the bar and one or two tables of other customers. But there was only one person manning both the bar and serving tables, and he was struggling to keep up. Took a long time to get... More

Friday karaoke, and the best, cheap/reasonable priced food you will find in this tourist town. Great people--slow service, but I think that it's just "island time."

I gave this a 5 star because it is a bar, and the food, for a bar, was great! We own a place on Orcas and come here often because of the excellent food (especially burgers) at affordable prices, which on Orcas, is not easy to find. Onion rings good, salad too…and friendly service.

Excellent chardonnay served in a perfectly chilled glass, delicious and reasonably priced pub food with friendly service. The burgers are excellent, especially the bbq beef burger. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I am looking forward to returning!

There was not a lot open when we wanted something to eat around 8 PM. There was only one waitress, but she handled the large crowd very well. I had chicken strips and my husband had a chicken burger. Average food and gave it a very good rating because they were open and seemed to be the place were everyone... More
