Yummmmmy!

First thing you should do when landing on Orcas Island is go to The Madrona Grill for their fish and chips with a cold Mac and Jacks! The fish is so fresh and the breading is amazing! Yes we starving when we arrived, but man o man...best fish and chips I've had in a LONG TIME!

My husband and I went to this lovely restauarant, overlooking the water, to get some seafood. We were sad to see that there was no seafood entrees at this restaurant, only seafood appetizers. Being that we really wanted seafood we ordered all the seafood apps (coconut shrimp, pan fried oysters, calamari, and crab cakes). The food was very yummy, but... More

Ate here this weekend and it was a great experience. Beautiful place, view and great food. Burgers are delicious and fish and chips were good, but a tad well done. Would give it another try when in town for sure

Most of us would shrink at buying a burger for 15.00 but the ones at the Madrona are huge and quite tasty. The Bacon burger had large slabs of bacon, yummy. The sides we chose were the garlic fries, I love garlic, copious amounts on top of crispy fries. The onion rings were my husbands choice with his burger. They... More

My husband and I were doing an event at a local church and were unable to get away to eat Madrona Bar and Grill allowed us to take a menu to the church and order and pick up food after their normal closing time. The flat iron steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the coconut prawns with sweet chili... More

Nice clean restaurant offering the kind of pub fare that you would expect. A fantastic view of the bay is what makes this place worth a visit. Service was fast and friendly and the food was what was needed for a quick lunch. Prices were a little high but not outlandish by any means. Overall a really good place for... More

A late lunch after a cold hike and I wanted soup. Two choices: chowder and bisque. Would have been nice to have an option that was broth based. I chose the bisque. Served in a huge flat bowl and it lost temperature quickly. The server did reheat it for me. Husband's blue cheese salad was fresh and tasty. This place... More

Fish and chips arrived barely warm and French fries the same. Salads either had too much dressing to where spinach/veggies were doggie or hardly any dressing. Appetizer for Pan fried oysters arrived deep fried. The only good thing from what we ordered was my coleslaw and crab cakes.

Great place that is open all year round and really like the salads. The best place for dinner that will be open!
