A view, a brew and fish & chips

Stopped for lunch and got a window table with one of the best views on the water. Service was excellent and courteous. The fish and chips were tasty and ample for sharing. A cup of chowder each made a satisfying meal. Good microbrews on tap. This was a return visit and enjoyable again.

We visited the evening of July 31 around 7:00. The staff was friendly, in particular, our server (petite girl with wavy dark hair). She even came to our table to tell us about a huge jellyfish floating around outside. Here are the negative points about our experience, however: - The veggies accompanying the hummus appetizer were warmer than room temperature,... More

We had lunch, twice, on a busy holiday weekend. I can only say that the pan-fried oysters were the best I had on our trip to the Pacific Northwest -- and I ordered them everywhere we went! Reasonably priced, lightly sautéed, crisp on the outside, tender on the inside with lots of lemon and an okay attar sauce.

It always amazes me when you go to a restuarnt and the first thing they tell you is what they're out of esp. when you show up at 6. In our case it was every dish with clams. Here we are in the middle of Pugent Sound which is clam heaven and they're out of clams. So I ordered a... More

Great location overlooking the bay. We had good clam chowder and prawn appetizer. Cocktail sauce was very hot.

We had a quick dinner here on a night when we arrived late and couldn't get a table elsewhere. The food was better than what we expected from a bar. It was crowded so we didn't have a choice of table. I could see that if you were by the windows, the view would be terrific. I had one of... More

This little place is tucked down an alley in Eastsound but it's right on the water. There are a few outdoor tables and several indoor tables along the windows for a great view. The lunch food and appetizers are all just fine. We didn't try dinner but I assume it would be the same quality. The fish and chips is... More

They make a good bacon blue chees burger. We ate there twice, sitting out on the balcony. I'm not sure the tables out there can hold more than 2 people each, but if you're a couple that's the way to go. (If it isn't too cold). The view is worth it.

I should have trusted the high number of lower reviews and gone with my gut on this place. Unfortunately we were visiting at a time when all of the higher rated area eateries were closed. Place was busy and understaffed. The maitre d was a sweet girl but clearly confused as she told us our wait would be up to... More

Went for lunch. Had a BLT w/avocado. It was a nice sandwich, but the bacon was quite greasy. They were out of whole wheat bread, so served it on a Chinatown roll, which was OK. They were out of one of the four beers on tap. Overall, it was a good experience, but the service was very slow.
