I'll start off by saying I don't usually eat Thai, that said, the food was very tasty and well worth the price paid, which was average for dinner meal. English is the proprietors second language, which makes it a little difficult but more authentic.

Owner operated, not a chain (although I believe another family member also has a restaurant Emerald Thai II somewhere near). Food is excellent, service is friendly and prompt. They are gracious about special orders and the price is reasonable. I loved the cashew chicken

I stopped in and tried the Tom Kah Gai soup it was very good and presented nicely. The owner was very friendly he saw that I was a Seahawk fan and talked to me about how good they are looking. I enjoyed my soup just wish it had more than one type of mushroom in it but it did have... More

Don't expect to get 10% when mentioning their website. It's a gimmick. We did that and the owner said: "But you didn't call me first." His logic was beyond us. Not much service overall during our 2 hour dining. There was only 1 other table with 2 other people while we were there. We were there for dinner in mid-November... More

I saw them next to my hotel, and I got a craving for Thai. The only problem was that it was an hour past closing. But I called, and they said come on over. The friendly owner - a former professional kickboxer - chatted with me while I waited for my delicious panang curry chicken. I got it to go,... More

Deceptively funky looking green log-cabin exterior building that hides a nicely done interior that has some wood paneling, tasteful knick-knacks, posters, etc. Friendly manager (owner?) and atmosphere. Service was bit uneven/slow when we were there, so had to prompt for service as needed, but we were in no hurry. The manager seem to be doing most of the customer interactions,... More

I been to Emerald Thai a few times before with my husband, on our trips to the Seattle area. We tried out this place out and it's AMAZING! We are now residents in Seattle, and happily have gone back. The food has great quality and comes in large portions. The Pad Thai is the BEST I ever had and husband LOVED... More

I would probably have driven by this restaurant as it is not in the best of area's and does not speak much to the exterior.. but the reviews spoke volumes. The owners are personable and truly care that you have a good experience.. to just pick up and go or stay for a meal. The food is fresh, flavors are... More

Went here because majority of reviews were positive. Maybe they just can't do pad thai & we should have ordered something else. Yuk. Won't get another chance from us.
