Best chowder ever

Stood in line maybe 25 mins. No reservations allowed. Service was outstanding with waitress very helpful on food & drink choices. They boast on coldest beer on tap & my Blue Moon with orange slice was perfect. The blackened halibut tacos were spicy & 2 were more than enough. The halibut fish... read more

Finally, a small independent restaurant that lives up to the hype...most independent restaurants that I've been to in the outlying area around Seattle leave you rethinking the value of chain restaurants...and that's a shame... But Wally's does a very good job...they even have a good cheeseburger and enough options to make you want to come back soon.....

Small place , family atmosphere. Specialties are 1. The Chowder, I had the white and it was good (red availsble). 2. Fish and chips are a main item. I had Halibut with some prawn, again food was hot and tasty with good size portions. Next time I'm in town I will come back and try some more dishes.

Been to all the regular places around for chowder and none compares to the one at Wally's. Very little (if any) sand. And lots of clams in a creamy, delicious base. No short cuts. Simple and good. And the rest is good too. The two-piece fish and chips cod fillet dinner is enough for two people to share.

Got off the boat at midday, looking for a hamburger. Found Wallys, and were not disappointed! The burger was amazing (and you know you can't say that about every hamburger you order in this world), but the small shrimp salad was anything but small. A beautiful green salad with croutons, cucumbers, tomatoes, and hard-boiled eggs and 8 ounces of lovely... More

We come here as a 2nd option and were not disappointed. Had the single piece Halibut Fish & Chips, which was a nice sized portion for one. I liked that you could substitute cole slaw or rice, for the fries. The place was packed but service was great & the decor very nice. Was not on the Harbor, but a... More

Great sea food menu. Mid range prices. Relaxed atmosphere. Good wine and beer selection. Great for both lunch and dinner.

Looks local and feels homey, but tastes upscale. Really delicious and worth going out of your way. Delicious and fresh.

In town to visit, checked reviews here and looked promising - so glad we went! Wonderful fresh seafood (get fresh not frozen), fabulous NE Clam Chowder (get the bowl a cup isn't enough) and if you have room they make homemade desserts that were huge and mesmerizing - just fabulous!!! Service was friendly and meal came out quickly. You will... More
