I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. When we arrived it took awhile to be greeted or acknowledged. My husband was actually ready to turn around and leave but I wanted to eat dinner here. When the hostess finally arrived, she was friendly and we did seated right away, it wasn't very busy, plenty of open tables and we got... More

Great food. It was a cool evening so we ate inside, but the deck would be a great place on a sunny day. Very personable staff.

We stayed here with an Amazon Local deal, basically two nights for the price of one. Well worth the deal. We checked in after camping on San Juan and Lopez. Cute place, nice breakfast provided. We were hoping for more of a view of Deer Harbor, but for the price it was very nice and cozy. Private bathrooms and a... More

We ate here twice since we could just walk from our cabin. Dinner the first night was good, especially the split pea soup. The second night we had the appetizer of fried oysters, split pea soup, and berry cobbler. The oysters were among the best I've ever eaten and I'm extremely picky about oysters! We were seated outside so we... More

Our meals were well prepared and service was good. The view is outstanding. A bit pricey, which is why I'm only giving it a 4.

As mentioned earlier we were unable to contact management, staff, etc. even when we called the numbers listed in the office. This is an absentee managed property as nearly as the three of us could tell in our two days there.

Average food with nice service. The effort is there but the sides for each entree were the same. Large portions and family style service assured no one left hungry.

Pleasant, old school family restaurant. Pea soup so-so, dinner salad great (the best thing by far), bread and butter good. Both entrees were terrible and incredibly (this is NOT an exaggeration) small. Very disappointing considering the large price tag. Service was quite slow also, but it's hard to get worked up about it since it's a family restaurant off the... More

Ran into a local in East Sound who we grilled on good places to eat on the Island. He highly recommended Deer Harbor for their Sunday night fired chicken special. After arriving we were a bit surprised to see that the special was 24.00 for a fired chicken dinner but it did include, bread, soup and a fresh salad, all... More

All four of us enjoyed our entrees and local wines from the nice wine list. The service was just right.
