What a delight!

Found this place based on the ratings of others and was surprised when we strolled in late Saturday evening to a nearly empty restaurant. Ok, we eat late and probably most of Cle Elum doesn't but if this place were in Seattle we would NEVER get in without a reservation. The staff was delightful... read more

Two couples had a great dinner here. Salads and dinners were very good. The shrimp small plate with the sweet chili sauce was superb. Dessert was awesome, the chocolate sin worth the trip by itself. Nice wine list. Comfortable spot. Service was great; informative, engaging, and personable without being too much.

The food is excellent! The bar is excellent! This is a very social place: the owners and staff do not hesitate to strike up a conversation, which is nice. But if you want privacy, just let them know.

This restaurant serves excellent food and drink. I haven't been here on nights they have live music, but I've heard it's fun. The owners are two women and the wait staff currently includes two sisters, as well. They are very very friendly and chatty. We were here by ourselves and later came with Seattle friends and we are chatted up... More

We brought our business group of 20 back to the Parlour Car Bistro to conclude an annual retreat. It is a great dinner spot - ambiance is warm & welcoming, service was fabulous and food outstanding. Sometimes with a group this large, it is difficult to get all entrees served at the same time and the food can be slow.... More

We ate at Parlour Car Bistro for the first time last week. Not one bite of food was anything but fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared. I have eaten in restaurants all over the country and, trust me, the attention to detail here is apparent. To start, the bread is soft and delicious. The chef made us a delicious caprese salad... The bistro is has an unassuming exterior but is a delight inside. The decor is soothing, creating an oasis of calm in a hot dusty place. The menu was very interesting and our food was excellent. My cioppino had great flavour and was a mountain of fresh, delicious seafood. The wine list was interesting.

We checked Trip Advisor for a good dinner spot for our one night in Cle Elum; this was a very nice surprise. Our server Annie was lovely, the wine list was reasonable (for Canadians!) and our Kahlua ribs/rib-eye steak were great, particularly the steak. Recommended!

We try to eat here every time we ride at the Washington State Horse Park. Never disappointed. A hidden treasure. Cioppino, burger, salads & steaks - all have been excellent.
