Vin du Lac surpassed our expectations! We were pleasantly surprised to find our friend Chef Joseph Nagy - of the Maki Sushi Restaurant,Lake Chelan, is now running the show! He has been there for the past 6 weeks reshaping Vin du Lac to make it a premier dining experience. Our waitress Lillian, one of the members of the new wait... More

We stopped in for wine tasting and ended up joining the wine club to get some nice wines at a great discount. The aromas coming from the kitchen were wonderful but we had made other plans for dinner. We will try to get back there for lunch this week.

I love to go to Vin du Lac for a nice, relaxing lunch. You can sit among the apple trees and enjoy a wine tasting before lunch or just have a tasty bistro lunch. They also have a beautiful indoor spot now for dinner. Great dinner -- just a little pricey.

I can't speak to how good the restaurant is, but the tasting fees are ridiculous. $9 for 3 two-ounce pours. AND no discount from that tasting fee if you buy a bottle of wine. I'm sure they think their wines are better than anyone else's, but when you can go to the Benson Winery (the best in the area) and... More

This winery used to have an excellent restaurant with excellent service but the particular chef that made it so good is gone. The restaurant presently serves a minimal bistro menu apparently concentrating more on the wines than food. That's ok but the service is very poor. We have been there a number of times and two of the wait staff... More

I wish I were able to review the food here; however, that would have required me to be able to eat there! Our family had driven past the winery several times over the course of a week and the hours posted by the road on two signs said that the "bistro" opened at 11am for dining. So after completing several... More

We've been visiting Vin Du Lac yearly for several years. Something seemed very different this time. For the first time we had to pay for wine tasting, which was obviously a surprise. $9 for three two-ounce pours seemed like a lot. The grounds continue to be beautiful, and we admired them and the dog who came visiting while we enjoyed... More

We've been coming to this little winery for about ten years and the just keep getting better and better. We love to start with a tasting and then finish off the afternoon with a delicious lunch on the picturesque patio. The have an awesome quiche and the Bree with apricot jam is a must try. We've never been disappointed at... More

Vin Du Lac Bistro was recommended to us by the bed and breakfast where we were staying in Chelan, Washington. Located at a beautiful vineyard, Vin Du Lac was only a short drive out of the busy tourist town of Chelan, The outdoor patio has a fabulous view of Lake Chelan and the surrounding hills. We started with a wine... More

We had lunch here and brought our two small children along. We wine tasted at our table and they had nice snack food options for the kids, too. The view is beautiful and it is a laid back atmosphere.
