Sorrento's Ristorante at Tsillan Cellar's owner, Dr. Bob Jankelson, admits that the food of Italy captured him before he developed his interest in wine. Dozens of teaching trips to Italy instilled an appreciation of Italian cuisine paired with food friendly wine shared with friends and family. The same meticulous attention to detail evident in Tsillan Cellars stunning Italian architecture and grounds, transfers to a kitchen that brings world class dining to the shores of Lake Chelan. While Sorrento Ristorante is the perfect setting for a romantic evening of dining with that special person it is also the perfect venue to entertain business colleagues, friends, or have a warm family friendly dining experience. In winter, the inviting Italian fireplace and panoramic views of Lake Chelan and snow clad mountains blend with award winning food and wine to leave indelible memories. Outstanding ambiance, food, wine and service- four reasons Sorrento's Ristorante at Tsillan Cellars was named OpenTable Top 100 Scenic Restaurants in America in 2014.

they got a new chef and what a difference! We would not eat here, even though it is not far from home. The new chef has made a huge difference. The scallops are wonderful, the prime rib is very good, his pasta dishes are done just right, he has brought a much needed change to the restaurant... read more

I went to the Sorrento restaurant for my anniversary celebration dinner. I was really disappointing with the food. Appetizer and Salad was good but our pasta tasted like the sauce came from a bottle! Our server was pretty nice and the venue was fantastic!

The restaurant is nice, open, cheery and welcoming, and the gardens, pond and waterfall offer a relaxing view, with big glass doors that open up during warmer weather. I recently had the brunch special, some kind of shrimp & crab in a tasty creamy sauce over biscuits and a side of fresh fruit. The seafood was fresh, but unfortunately the... More

I love this resturant! Great atmosphere and food. Haven't found better. Worth the extra money, especially for a romantic evening. Make sure and make reservations.

We stopped here to do wine tasting and then have an early dinner. The tasting was excellent and the dining was way above the usual Chelan fare. Excellent menu, good wine selections and the prices were affordable. The grounds are exceptional and the overall setting has no parallel in Chelan. Well worth the time to visit.

outstanding Italian food with a gorgeous view of Lake Chelan and snow capped mountains. I was lucky enough to meet the owners a couple of years ago and now enjoy lunch and dinner there as often as possible. This place not only serves outstanding meals, they do it at a price we can all afford. Service is great and the... More

This is a visual oasis with expert service by Dave in the dining room. The wine, the view, the bread, the food was fantastic! If you are on a budget, kindly make reservations for Thursday night pasta specials ranging from $11 to $15. Our experience was diminished by the lady hostess whom gave us a reprimand upon arrival for not... More

We visited Lake Chelan with some friends and I wanted to treat them to a meal which could be a little tricky since they are vegetarian. So I found on TripAdvisor a familiar name from my childhood in the SF bay area-but I doubted it could be related. What a surprise to find out it was the very same family... More

We made a reservation for their prime rib special, but when we sat down for dinner we were told that the specials were all gone. We ended up ordering their "Filet tips in a peppercorn sauce" which was delicious. We had a wonderful local red - Tsillan P{icolo Rosso which complemented our meal perfectly. And the creme carmel was a... More

We hit Sorrentos on a night when the dining room was closed for a private function so we ate in the tasting room of the winery. The location and view from the diningroom are stunning, looking over Lake Chelan. We had a very nice evening in the tasting room, without the view, but with good service and rustic atmosphere
