Description: Sorrento's Ristorante at Tsillan Cellar's owner, Dr. Bob Jankelson, admits...
Sorrento's Ristorante at Tsillan Cellar's owner, Dr. Bob Jankelson, admits that the food of Italy captured him before he developed his interest in wine. Dozens of teaching trips to Italy instilled an appreciation of Italian cuisine paired with food friendly wine shared with friends and family. The same meticulous attention to detail evident in Tsillan Cellars stunning Italian architecture and grounds, transfers to a kitchen that brings world class dining to the shores of Lake Chelan. While Sorrento Ristorante is the perfect setting for a romantic evening of dining with that special person it is also the perfect venue to entertain business colleagues, friends, or have a warm family friendly dining experience. In winter, the inviting Italian fireplace and panoramic views of Lake Chelan and snow clad mountains blend with award winning food and wine to leave indelible memories. Outstanding ambiance, food, wine and service- four reasons Sorrento's Ristorante at Tsillan Cellars was named OpenTable Top 100 Scenic Restaurants in America in 2014.

Best view on the lake

The restaurant is lovely and the grounds are really beautiful. If you are a member of their wine club there is a restaurant discount as well as in the store and a private area for club members

Amazing Tsillan (Chelan country) winery coupled with an Italian influenced menu restaurant. When they are busy, you could have to wait, but I think that's a good sign. Even so, the staff are attentive and you can almost always get a place to eat. The chef works at producing daily specials that are a great example of culinary delight. The... More

My daughter and I were in Chelan for a girls weekend and decided to have dinner at Sorrento's. We have visited Tsillan Cellars many times over the last few years for wine tasting and the gift shop. I called ahead and reserved a table for 5:30pm on a Thursday night. We were seated on time and given a nice table... More

We went to the tasting room prior to dinner and enjoyed the fine red wines. All the grapes used in their wines are grown by their vineyards. No grapes from other vineyards are used. As previous TA members have said the views are spectacular. There were comments about the wine and meal being on separate bills, this was not the... More

The staff was great the food was mediocre at best. The appetizer was four small scallops (expensive), but very tasty! The main course I could have done without. Chicken Parmesan was bland and the Alfredo based pasta with Salmon was something the chef should have left off the menu. The waiter was gracious enough to take it off the bill...muchos... More

Food, atmosphere, service all were lovely. Beautiful setting and view. Our waiter (Tate) was attentive to our grandchildren, and patiently described each item, etc. Would enjoy returning to this restaurant.

My wife and I met up with my boss and his wife for dinner. The staff was very attentive and helpful with our wine selection. The champagne was delightful. The whites a bit sweet (tried the Chardonnay but still don't like chardonnay). The reds - tasty! The food was great and there was lots of it. I definitely recommend this... More

I have visited Sorrento's twice now, hoping beyond hope that the first time was just a mistake. The view is wonderful from this winery. They restaurant takes fill advantage of this view. With this said, the wait staff is horrible. It will take at least 20 mins once you are seated for them to come to the table to acknowledge... More

The family and I always dine at Sorrento's whenever we vacation in Chelan. The food is very delicious. I ordered the mushroom risotto and added tiger prawns for $8. I was disappointed with the portion size. It was so small I left hungry and that was in addition to sharing a Cesar salad with my husband. Also, I only received... More

Our family always enjoys eating here. Food is always amazing and the kids love feeding the koi as we waited for our table. It was a bit too warm for our 3 month old since the restaurant is outdoors but we knew that going into it.
