Description: Sorrento's Ristorante at Tsillan Cellar's owner, Dr. Bob Jankelson, admits...
Sorrento's Ristorante at Tsillan Cellar's owner, Dr. Bob Jankelson, admits that the food of Italy captured him before he developed his interest in wine. Dozens of teaching trips to Italy instilled an appreciation of Italian cuisine paired with food friendly wine shared with friends and family. The same meticulous attention to detail evident in Tsillan Cellars stunning Italian architecture and grounds, transfers to a kitchen that brings world class dining to the shores of Lake Chelan. While Sorrento Ristorante is the perfect setting for a romantic evening of dining with that special person it is also the perfect venue to entertain business colleagues, friends, or have a warm family friendly dining experience. In winter, the inviting Italian fireplace and panoramic views of Lake Chelan and snow clad mountains blend with award winning food and wine to leave indelible memories. Outstanding ambiance, food, wine and service- four reasons Sorrento's Ristorante at Tsillan Cellars was named OpenTable Top 100 Scenic Restaurants in America in 2014.

they got a new chef and what a difference! We would not eat here, even though it is not far from home. The new chef has made a huge difference. The scallops are wonderful, the prime rib is very good, his pasta dishes are done just right, he has brought a much needed change to the restaurant... read more

For years my wife and I would drive by Sorrento's on the way into Chelan and say "we should go there for dinner sometime." Well, this past week we finally did and now regret passing it by. The décor is outstanding. It has the look and feel of an Italian courtyard, with great views of the lake. The interior dining... More

The food was good, but the service was slow. Everything we bought to eat in the Chelan area was expensive!

If you desire one of the best views in Lake Chelan for dinner then you will not be disappointed by this lookout. That's where the excitement ends. One server for wine. One server for food... And they don't work for the "same place" or communicate at all. This is where the entire experience goes bad fast. The food is good.... More

We worked with the winery for 2 months putting together a 15th anniversary dinner for 16 people. We wanted to choose wine and appetizers ahead of time to help the staff keep things moving. The day before we were brushed off and only ordered wines. Once our group arrived the restaurant was understaffed to say the least and very busy.... More

This lovely restaurant overlooking Lake Chelan and adjoining Tchelan Winery was magnificent. The food was delicious. We were with another couple and started with a appetizers: Bruschetta and a flatbread (like a small pizza with mushrooms, veggies); I had a pasta with a pesto sauce...great! Another had the Chicken Marsala and one the Canneloni. All of us commented on how... More

I went to the Sorrento restaurant for my anniversary celebration dinner. I was really disappointing with the food. Appetizer and Salad was good but our pasta tasted like the sauce came from a bottle! Our server was pretty nice and the venue was fantastic!

The restaurant is nice, open, cheery and welcoming, and the gardens, pond and waterfall offer a relaxing view, with big glass doors that open up during warmer weather. I recently had the brunch special, some kind of shrimp & crab in a tasty creamy sauce over biscuits and a side of fresh fruit. The seafood was fresh, but unfortunately the... More

I love this resturant! Great atmosphere and food. Haven't found better. Worth the extra money, especially for a romantic evening. Make sure and make reservations.
