convenient spot off I-5, needs work

We stopped here again (also last summer) on our way to Ike Kinswa State Park campground. It's conveniently located right off I-5 at our exit. I really enjoyed the experience last summer and at the time probably would have rated it higher. This time I noticed things I didn't like. There were a lot... read more

Enjoyed our meal here with another couple. Arrived about 4:30 on a Friday so it wasn't crowded. Excellent service. Three of us ordered off the lite menu and there was plenty of food. If you like liver and onions try it, really thought it was excellent. Chicken fried steak was good, and the salmon burger was good also, none of... More

My wife and I stopped in for a quick evening meal. She ordered a burger and I ordered the chicken fried steak. When the waitress delivered my plate of food, I noticed a clear fluid pouring off the side of the plate. The red potatoes were covered in a large amount of raw garlic. The fluid that was pouring off... More

Second time around and still not good. Momma was insulted when they titled the meatloaf the way mom makes it. Bland and did not finish it. Norway would be shamed by the owners sandwich after heritage. Fatty meat, processed cheese slices and dry bread. Again I did not finish it, but fed it to my dogs for the money I... More

We were driving by and thought we would give it a chance. We selected the meat trio which was the breakfast special. You get Two eggs, two pieces of bacon, two links sausages, a piece of ham, hash-browns and toast . All for less than $9.00! We split the breakfast and were delighted, Coffee was excellent but not included with... More

As others have commented the management here is questionable. Their business must be so good they don't care if they offend a regular customer. I commute to Seattle from Portland bi weekly and use Spiffy's as my rest stop, breakfast going up and lunch coming back. Regularly. Today I stopped in as I always do returning home. Ordered as I... Really enjoyed my visit here. Good food, got the hot turkey and they used real turkey which is rare for places. Finished off my visit with a slice of chocolate cream pie...Deeeeeelocious! Check out Spiffys if you are buzzing through the great west.

The food isn't very good. They do have nice pies. I used to work there and was only given 2 hrs/wk. They also had a policy that a manager needed to approve checks, but every time someone wrote a check, I could never find a manager. I would call the managers office, but no one would answer. Then I would... More

Food was over priced and not very good. Never thought to ask for my salmon not to be burned. Waitress was friendly, but seemed to have an underlying attitude. Would not recommend.

Spiffy’s, Chehalis, Wa. 6/7/15 On our way to visit a friend in Seattle, Washington we spotted this little restaurant along the highway. We were looking for a good place to have and I must say we found it. Staff was very friendly, place is very clean and had the atmosphere. The best part was the food, we had an omelet... More
