We have eaten at Spiffy's once or twice a year for the past 12-15 years. They have a coupon in the Entertainment Guide that we buy and we often travel on I-5 and Spiffy's is a good place to stop between our home in Tacoma and Portland. The food is good, but nothing spectacular. On a recent... read more

A family resturant just off the freeway. Started in a trailer. Food is ok, but the dessert menu is what makes stopping there worth it. Get the Pie!

My husband and I both ordered the Farmer's omelet which was very good although the meat items inside were a bit greasy. Good taste and hot. The prices were acceptable other than my husband asked for no hashbrowns and no toast but for just one pancake instead of the accompanying items. $4 extra for one lousy pancake when they didn't... I stopped here for dinner the Sunday night after US Thanksgiving as I was traveling alone from Portland to BC. The dinner special was prime rib. I couldn't resist and it was so good. This is a restaurant I have visited over the years, but had not been to in a long time. I saw it from the highway and... More

We stopped here for dinner last night and both of our meals bordered on being inedible. I had the chopped serlion with red potatoes. Both the potatoes and veggies were like mush. My trip to salad bar revealed that most containers were almost empty. My meal including the veggies were smothered in beef gravy which tasted like it was from... More

This was a good place to stop along I-5. Easy to get to and park a full sized truck and trailer. Shares a parking lot with a gas station if you need to fill-up. Food was good and service was quick. The staff was very friendly and the price was reasonable. If you are looking for something better then fast-food... More

I had the French dip with Swiss and fries, the sandwich was good and filling. I was there with 3 others 2 of which had the buffet which they rather enjoyed. My wife had the Montecristo sandwich which she said was good even with the addition of a slice of pineapple (never had this on a Montecristo before). We will... More

Enjoyed our meal here with another couple. Arrived about 4:30 on a Friday so it wasn't crowded. Excellent service. Three of us ordered off the lite menu and there was plenty of food. If you like liver and onions try it, really thought it was excellent. Chicken fried steak was good, and the salmon burger was good also, none of... More

My wife and I stopped in for a quick evening meal. She ordered a burger and I ordered the chicken fried steak. When the waitress delivered my plate of food, I noticed a clear fluid pouring off the side of the plate. The red potatoes were covered in a large amount of raw garlic. The fluid that was pouring off... More
