This is a standard type of place for travelers. It's just off of I-5 and always has cars in the lot. I met a friend there - half way point for both of us. We had breakfast - crisp bacon, eggs cooked as ordered, decent hash browns. Same for my friend. The highlight was the server. She was so friendly,... More

The restaurant is very clean and the decor is nice. There is a bakery in the restaurant, and a bakery case by the cash register with all kinds of treats. I have driven by this interchange since 1978 and never stopped. Recently a coworker told me that this place is a standard stop for his work unit, so I thought... More

Driving back from Mt. Rainier, stopped for dinner at Spiffy's. Just wanting a family type restaurant, this looked like the place. It is a very ordinary type restaurant. Our server was okay, but she seemed very harassed and hurried. The most memorable thought about this restaurant is that it is very OVERPRICED. This is not a fancy place, the food... More

Amazing how when driving North on Interstate 5 between Portland and Seattle, I often noticed a restaurant but never stopped. It was on the East side of the interchange with US Highway 12 (the White Pass highway). From I-5, I could see a large building with a Red "RESTAURANT" neon sign covering the roof, and a slightly smaller white neon... More

Stopped here for lunch on the way from Portland to mount Rainier. Had the chicken club which was a perfect 10. Service was good, prices are not cheap though. Nice atmosphere, clean. You don't need much more than this for a great lunch.

We reserved the banquet room due to our large family reunion group. We had plenty of room for all with tables in a large square shape. We came in a little at a time and had only one waitress for all of us but she was AMAZING! She remembered who ordered what and did her best to accommodate special requests... More

Our family of four stopped here for breakfast the morning of our trip across Washington. It was a good place to fuel up. The food was tasty and well presented, and the prices were excellent. The service was a little slow, but the waitress did bring more coffee once we'd asked her. Would recommend this as a good place for... More

I had seen this cafe on my Google map and remembered it as an option for a lunch stop between Tacoma and Portland. Good choice! Good food, good pie, and a clean, attractive restaurant. Will likely go there again on future trips.

We took the great grandparents out for dinner yesterday because grandpa was hoping to have prime rib. They didn't have it so he has a petite sirloin that was tougher than shoe leather. Poor guy could barely eat it. Grandma and I had chicken fried steak that came with brown gravy. Who makes it with brown gravy and not write... More
