I had the half Chicken Curry sandwich and the cup of African Peanut Chicken soup. The sandwich was great but the soup... More

Really cute, unexpected find just off of I-5. Quick service, healthy food choices, delightful atmosphere and cheerful cooks and waitresses. We drove 2 1/2 hours to meet our friends from Seattle there and enjoyed a wonderful time. We would drive up again just for a Sunday outting.

Joy makes very healthy lunches. I have never tried anything there that I didn't love! She uses local ingredients as well as organic. She also has a cooking class the second Monday of each month. She demonstrates her recipes, serves each item and provides recipes!

Thank you fellow Tripadvisor reviewers for pointing my husband and I here on our way northbound on I-5! Convenient to get to with our camper from the highway, we stopped for lunch in this quaint little deli. I ordered the half sandwich with a cup of soup. The soup, a curried cashew ginger carrot was incredibly tasty and had my... More

If you want a good sandwich and a quick lunch, try out Once Upon a Thyme. Staff is friendly, service is quick lunch counter style, and sandwiches are very good. Don't plan on anything formal, just good food.

Stopping in for lunch is a perfect opportunity to eat quality garden to table food and enjoy organic produce and ingredients. It is also a perfect and quaint place to take clients. Joy's evening Cooking Classes each month are a wonderful opportunity to enjoy delicious food and learn new recipes.

If you are driving I-5 between Portland and Seattle this is a MUST stop for lunch! The turkey/cream cheese/cranberry sandwich is incredible, and I have been a lifetime carrot cake hater but based on the reviews here I tried a piece and could have eaten the ENTIRE cake. It was heaven!!! It is only open from 10am - 3pm Monday... More
