Great find!

Great find! We stopped for lunch after finding this place on trip advisor. Many great reviews. We had sandwiches, everything we had was very good. Tried the raspberry tart, awesome!

Every time I'm in town (I actually live in Berlin, Germany) I can't wait to enjoy a bowl of wonderful clam chowder (every Friday) or a great sandwich (or both ;-) )! Everything is fresh and healthy - a great alternative to your typical burger with fries (which I also like once in a while). And the staff is really... More

I enjoyed a great sandwich and soup here. Food is made from scratch. Atmosphere is wonderful. Looking forward to going back.

A friend and I had lunch there on an unusually warm early March day. We opted to sit outside on their front porch as it was in the 70s. Previous reviewers coined this establishment "quaint", and I agree that quaint is the perfect adjective to describe this eatery. The menu was neatly written on a chalkboard above the ordering station.... More

Even though this café is tucked away in the State Avenue Business District of Chehalis WA, it is a favorite of mine for lunch. Their variety of sandwiches and specials makes it a treat for a break. The rustic and old-fashioned décor is a refreshing change from the "restaurant norm". Parking can be somewhat limited, but is worth a visit.

Our favorite in our new hometown. Great sandwiches, and a very personable owner who serves and greets each guest. Fare is reasonable, fresh and innovative. We definitely look forward to our next lunch at Once Upon a Thyme!

A place that has grown in local as well as regional notoriety. Our group meets there monthly and some have their favorite every time while others try the daily specials. They pride themselves with wholesome ingredients while still very delicious. The menu is varied so there is something for everyone.

Always a wonderful variety of tasty choices. I usually take extra containers of the homemade soups home because they are incredible. The staff does a great job and are obviously proud of their restaurant.

One of our favorite places to gather for lunch with the gals. I have two groups I lunch with each month and this is the most requested location.
