Authentic

This is the most authentic Mexican restaurant in Lewis County. The food is very good and unique compared to Mexican-American restaurants. It is privately owned and located in a little building that used to be a Dairy Queen.

Saw great review so stopped on the way home from Great Wolf lodge event, sure glad we did, it was great. The service was top notch and very friendly, like visiting a family home. Must go again. The homemade tortilla were like heaven!

Wonderful tasty authentic food. When you see news station vehicles parked outside, you know it's good. Located a few minutes off of I-5 between Seattle and Portland.

How many times have I struggled to find a good place to stop and eat between Portland and Seattle? Problem solved! La Tarasca is a small family run place just off I5. Take the exit by the outlet stores and go east on Harrison Street until it ends. It is on the left. I had Carnitas that melted in my... More

A most attractive authentic Mexican dining area, diverse menu, tasty food at affordable prices, efficient service, waitresses that have native Spanish speakers which makes it fun for me to practice my new language skills.

Can't wait to travel to southern Washington again in order to come here. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was wonderful. May not look like much on the outside - but that doesn't matter - TRY iT!

We were at The Great Wolf Lodge and 14 in our family went to eat there. Six had their special Pork Carnitas and all 6 loved the flavors and tenderness of the pork. The other 8 had various dishes and everyone was pleased except one whose tamales were very thick and dry inside. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.... More

Great, Michoacan food! The atmosphere is great with the historical information about the Purepecha/Tarascan people. The food is awesome, especially the Carnitas, Enchiladas and Pozole.

I'll start by saying I love authentic Mexican food. They make it known on the menu that they Do Not serve chips and salsa (they say that that's the authentic way to do it but I've been to many different areas in Mexico and that doesn't seem to be the case). They give you a little bowl of marinated carrots... More

Caritas were fabulous. Sopas were best I have ever had. We would certainly return. Authentic Mexican. Don't let casual look put you off.
