Traveling south on I 5 looking for a place to stop for breakfast. What a find. Small town cafe, interesting decor wonderful food. I opted for an omelet stuffed with mushrooms, bacon and sausage. Good choice, best omelet ever served with hash browns and toast . Excellent food, good value, friendly staff. . We will be back.

Second day of our road trip from San Diego to Seattle. It's lunch time and we're hungry and decided to see if we can find a place to eat in Castle Rock. So we stumbled into Lacey' Cafe and were rewarded with excellent food: delicious minestrone. Really good sandwiches. Good bread and everything on the sandwiches was absolutely fresh. Crisp... More

Having been rained on for 40 miles this place jumped out at us whilst cycle touring through north America. Good food, pleasant staff. Delicious hot chocolate. Large portions, we both had sandwiches and curley fries.

Stopped in at this tiny town on our way to California. Went into the local barber shop and asked his opinion on a good place to eat and himself an the client in his chair recommended this place. Classic small town diner with yummy food! Would stop here again.

My first thoughts on this place is that it is most remarkable in that there is a near complete lack of remarkableness. Nothing stands out, good or bad. This is a small town cafe though there are a few almost urban treats on the menu, like the vegetarian sandwich and large coffee comes in a 20+ oz bistro cup. On... More

Simple decor, just a few tables, but each time I've eaten here, I thought the food was prepared with care, and by someone who knew what they were doing.
